King's Laksa Steamboat 皇叻沙火锅

Laksa normally just a bowl for one but this is meant to be shared with my loved ones

Service was not as prompt as expected, especially the food items. Waited quite a while for both the cooked and uncooked items.

Like the service there, the waiter is very polite. As for the food, there isn’t a lot of variation. It’s pretty standard variety, so ain’t that bad.

Novel laksa soup base, but tends to get a tad oily after boiling. Food wise, no different from most budget steamboat joints; so overall, this place is more expensive. Good to try though if you haven't.

Prompt on topping soups, for sunday evening seems a lil shorthanded, food served abit slow. But counting at 4 staffs, the service is really consider fast n efficient. Will definitely come again

Very pricing and the selection of food were not much. Food served were not fresh too. Price is so so high compared to what we paid for. Would nvr visit agn.

Food and the laksa soup is really good. Keep on sipping on the laksa all the way especially with the fried nugget.

Surprised that children price is only for below 12 years old whereas most other restaurants give children price upto 12 years old.

Understaffed on a sunday. run out of drinks, cup and spoons.

It would be better if we can adjust the cooking temp conveniently.

Service assistant was really friendly and helpful. Although the wait for food took a bit of time, but she was always trying her best to get the food to us as fast as possible and took good care of my 5 year old brother in getting him the cutleries he needed as well as the food for him. Food was average. The laksa broth was very flavourful and recommended! I had a great time there and would love to visit again if the service of food was much faster!

The first serving was fine with right quantity of serving for the meat and prawns, for example first serving of prawns was about 8-10 but the second serving after you waited like there is no tomorrow, it serve you on the dish with 4PRAWNS only for 2 person??? The one incharge inside the kitchen was doing nothing, you can see it so clearly, after you handed in the second order, you have to wait for soooooooo long despite there is no other table ordering for food. Wouldnt recommend it to my friend or any others that like fast serving with right quantity served.

Our 1st trip there. I must say that it was a lovely dinner gathering for my family. Nice Laksa soup base for steamboat. I was very please with the the services of the lady who seems to operate on ONE (WO)MAN show, running cashier,server as well as clearing tables, she was friendly n patient n super efficient. Nice quiet place for a simple buffet steamboat gathering.

Good food, reasonable price! We had the Laksa soup and the chicken soup. Both were good! Strong air conditioning, with fans going at full blast!

Food are ok, severing are generous, we only ordered one round and it's enough to satisfy us. Ventilation could be better as even my sealed waterproof bag smells like steamboat after we left.

Service was pretty slow as restaurant was short handed. Restaurant should cater for more waiter/waitresses. Food was great! Will definitely recommend and be back to patronize.

The place is spacious. With good variety choice of food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free flow of drinks and ice cream esp the ice cream that attracted my Daughter.

The buffet is good as the usual, good location and ambiance for family and friends. Hope there is more soup base choice like tomato and mushroom. Meat portion is too much to finish.

One has to order the Laksa soup base as this is their signature soup. Lots of fried dried shrimp (Hei Bi) in this soup base. Their ha jiong fried chicken tastes well too. Though their ice cream is not those branded one, its light flavoured taste makes a good dessert as well.

Nice place to catch up w friends. A bit short of staff to serve the customers but the person on duty was doing her best to attend to the customer queries

Went at 3pm & there's only 1 table of 2 customers, but i had waited for arnd 20~30mins for the soup to be served. There's no wet tissues on my table, yet the wet tissue price was charged.

The dishes are tasty as usual. It is a good Sg savoury restaurant I am proud to bring my foreign friends when they visit or leaving Sg. Love the legendary Laksa soup base, just thinking about it makes me keep coming back and also super crispy prawn paste chicken wing! :) Service is its downside. It could improve such as being friendly, helpful and approachable :(

Nice place to eat awesome food will come again, the finger food is hot and crispy all food is fresh and good will come back again.
