The food isn't quite to my taste buds but it was decent. Might appeal to some others more! Service was decent and we enjoyed the drinks too. First time in a Russian/Slavic restaurant and it allowed us to explore the region's cuisine across a small selection of food that we sampled.

The best borscht I’ve eaten! Very aromatic with lots of ingredients. Good beef stroganoff. Will dine there again!

The chef personally greeted us and gave us a window table and his recommendations of dishes. The food was great, all four of us made individual choices and ended up very happy with service, presentation and taste. We enjoyed the lunch. Thanks and best wishes to Vadim.

Interesting place to bring friends to as Russian cuisine is not widespread in Singapore.

Best, authentic Russian/slavic restaurant ever. Boss is always so welcoming even we arrived close to closing time and accommodated our orders and always so warm and friendly family vibes. Highly recommended. Also food taste super authentic praised my Russian friend.

It was our first time having Slavic cuisine and it was surprisingly unique and tasty. Due to our large order, food came slightly slower. The team on duty also tried their best to explain most of the dishes to us.

Kapitan delivers bold, authentic flavours with its signature claypot briyani and tandoori chicken. The spices are fragrant and well-balanced, and the portions generous. A satisfying spot for hearty, comforting meals.

Went for the dumplings. Reservation was at 12.15pm, but almost all the dumplings were sold out. Service was slow even though the restaurant was half full. Not a great experience.

Short of staff so understanbly slow ... forced us to eat n enjoy the food. Blinkis, crepes n herring on potatoes were awesome. Dumplings were so so .... skin too thick for our liking. More cushions on high seats would be welcome d.

enjoyed the hospitality and the taste of the food. the food service was a little slow though but we understand that it’s family run and we did expect it. maybe to consider streamlining the ordering to cooking to giving food process. 100% would definitely return.

A cozy, homely ambience with beautiful vintage posters and the music is chill. The owners are friendly, they asked us how the food is. Food is tasty, well cooked and seasoned. It is my third time here and will definitely in the future. Thank you.

Simple and nice environment. Enjoyed their Slavic food. Ordered dumplings very unique and authentic. Polish Bigos are simple and flavourful. Like the mashed potatoes and Sauerkraut that comes with it. Had Medovik for dessert, sweet but nice Drinks, I tried kefir and Kapitans Mule, very refreshing. Kefir goes well with Medovik. Overall wonderful food

unique food and not my first time here! prices are definitely not the cheapest but worth a try :) they have also tried to localize some of the dishes a little more to make it more approachable for locals :)

Tried the crepe buffet but did not get refill. Only 1 flow of crepe and topping for 2 adults & a child. So basically we were served with 4 pieces of crepe and 8 toppings to be shared. Each topping size is the size of a condiment bowl. So per pax had 1pc of serving plate size crepe with some spread on your crepe for the cost of $17.90. Total time of waiting for first flow is 20mins. Total amount paid $17.90 x 2 = $35.80 excluding Service charge & GST and premium topping. The restaurant felt sorry and waived off child dining cost but what is the point when leaving the restaurant with empty stomach? The restaurant need improvement to managed their manpower and emotion to solve problem rather than throwing tantrum and issue to another colleague. Discourage to dine at this restaurant.

A unique experience as not many places sell Russian food. Especially able to try both Russian and ukraine dumplings! Those are amazing. The chebureki was great!

underwhelming given the rave reviews on Google. the beef dumplings were not distinctive. bread bowl looked nice but wasn't super tasty. honey cake was ok. the fried pancake with meat was ok but super thin and oily. no return plans.
