There are more than a few great places to pick up a meal in Singapore, and the Chinatown district is chief among them for those in the know about food. The forte here – surprise, surprise – is Chinese food, and Chinese restaurants in Chinatown means Ji Bao Bao. They offer the best in hotpots from their location on Smith Street, with any combination of meat, seafood and vegetables serving in steaming bowls to the legions of punters that swing by for something special to eat. Take the MTR in Telok Ayer, Outram Park or Chinatown, gather up your pals, family or colleagues and book a table at Ji Bao Bao, where they’ll bring you hotpot treats until you’re sated, with all the requisite accoutrements, sides and sauces to boot.
Food was good, had choice of chicken hotpot or just steamboat. Place was good for gathering, not too crowded. Staff was friendly. Overall a good place to have gatherings
