there were a lot of fatty meat for the pork. but it was yummy tbh. and the price was very reasonable. the tables however was a little too small for a group to sit comfortably.

It was a fantastic experience for me and family. Service was very good, especially Andy, who knows his stuff. Will definitely return. The charsiew is superb.

Updated place for Chinese food dinner. If you are bored with the regular style of restaurants, go to this place. Funky surroundings, fantastic foods, and cheap price!

Good food and my guests enjoyed the food a lot even though it was a simple dinner. I will be happy to come back again.

Overall, the food is 3/5 but not amazing. It's what you expected of normal roasted duck, sio bak and char siew. The char siew is soft, probably sous vide prior to roasting. The toasting formed a crust on the surface which taste a little too caramelized but it didn't taste bitter or burnt. I've ordered ice tea with lychee sorbet, it's a small mug that cost $6.80. Tea with canned lychee sorbet. Better off with canned drinks. Noodles and rice is soft and didn't taste special. I would say noodles are better tasting at famous bak chor mee and rice is better at Boon Tong Kee. It's chicken rice they served. Golden Shrimp Wanton is mushy and probably made with frozen shrimps as there is no sweetness to the filling. The sauce was not served in a sauce dish but one blob on the corner of the plate. Environment is 3/5 too as its generally spacious and the food came fast. Damage is $53 for 2 pax. Verdict: Not worth a second visit as there's nothing to shout about.

Food is so-so. Quite easy to find HK roasted meats that can beat this. Hasn’t tried any dish that can wow. Price is slightly below DXE. What shines is the service. The staff are great. Very friendly and warm.

Food was good. Will recommend to go in bigger group so you can order more dishes to share. Reasonably priced. We paid $18 per person for a group of 6.

2nd serving of char siew took 45 minutes. But worth it... duck was good too. Would have preferred more kick in the chilli. Thanks Guys.

Floor to toilet very oily. People might slip. Toilet need to be much cleaner & do get the dripping taps fix. Food wise 3.5/5 for myself

Reservations recommended as there was a queue even at 8pm! Charsiew was the best out of all the meat though the duck and siobak were great too. Would recommend the rice over noodles as I find that the sauce for the noodles were too oily and made the meal a little gelat. (they use chicken rice!). Atmosphere is perfect for a gathering with friends :)

Nice roast meat (char siew / siew yoke are good, tender and not dry) and fragrance rice is not oily. The duck salad is okay. Will go again.

Food was delicious. Maybe waiter can describe the food portion to us before ordering, ended ordering the same dish twice as we didn’t know the definition of large and x-large....

Ten of us were at the dinner. We were putting in our order through the iPad. One of the female waiting staff took a look at the IPad and informed us that the portion of the mixed roast is for 2 to 3 people. I told her we were ordering two portions and we had other foods too. She was not happy and service was bad after that. During dinner, we had to call her and reminded two times before she accede to our requests. No iced water was served. Food was overrated. The duck is supposed to be boneless but came with lots of bones.

Made a reservation at 7.30pm but when arriving on the dot we were still made to wait for awhile. Otherwise food is good and worth the price! Ambience is good for casual dining and catchup with friends

The best place for foods & environment. Serving is so fast. But it is recommended to make a booking as the queue is so long.

The restaurant was crowded on a Saturday evening, luckily we managed to get a reservation on Quandoo.sg. It is recommended that reservations be made as walk-in have to wait for more than one hour. The char Siew was good, mixture of lean and fatty meat. However; the roast pork was average, the skin wasn’t crispy or crunchy. Some of the dishes were cold when they came. The fried crispy squid wasn’t crispy and cold as well as the salted egg chicken wings and drumlets. The restaurant was short-handed and their iPad ordering system was down. I would also like to mention that their pot of tea is not those Cantonese restaurant tea with loose tea leaves. It’s just two tea-bags and they charge $6.80 per pot. I think they can do better by providing more tea bags or give better tea at that kind of price. Nonetheless, the dining experience was above average, there’s room for improvement. Perhaps to make sure that your staff are more organized than running around and being panicky.

Personally, the food is in the salty side. As an added experience, they could have provided alternative of white rice instead of the standard chicken rice.

Food was good but a little oily. Should have asked for the less fatty meats. The mee pok and the crispy lotus roots were nice! The kai lan would have been better with less oil.

Their signature dish is the char siew and I think it’s really the best! They should mention the type of noodles they serve though. There’s only meepok and we didn’t know because we assumed it’s meekia. They offered to change it for us after knowing that my mum doesn’t eat meepok but they ended up overcharging us (they charged both the noodles and the rice that they offered). But overall we had a great meal.

Nice place. Music is alittle loud though. Char siew is abit charred on the exterior. If u love ur meats alittle fattier, u will love here. I personally love the noodles!

Crispy roast pork was nice. Felt the charsiew needed abit more improvement. Dang Gui duck not well infused with herbs although i love it that it was deboned.

Roast pork too fatty. Herbal duck not enough herbal taste. Should toast the burger bread to make it more crispy & better presentation. Only char siew is good. Kitchen floor near to toilet very oily & slippery. Very dangerous especially for older people. A lot of clean up to be done. Kind of disappointed with overall food.

Reached the restaurant on time and found that the environment is wondeful, although no aircon but still windy. Foods are delicious, especially roasted pork and duck. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Good food. Unique dining experience. Space is not big but it’s spacious between tables.
