Ambience is fantastic . Great for small group. Need more selection though.
There's a very decent variety and selection. Dessert was the highlight for me and unlike other buffets, I didn't feel ill (or having felt I over ate) after.
Food wise not much choice, not to my liking. Cleanliness need to improve, cups got stain.
Great food and variety. Good value for money. Complimentary car parking.
Went last Sunday. Poor administration of time. No flexibility. Was told to leave at 8pm although we went in at 6.45pm. Notice wasn’t many people coming for the 8pm slot. Should have at least gave us grace. Surely our last visit
Nice and comfortable environment. Variety of the international selection was a little limited but otherwise food was good.
The buffet style with the range of cuisines was exceptional. Also great value for money.
Great service staff..the durian desert was awesome. Quality food..value for money..
Service is good but food quality so-so. Durian pudding is a little on the sweet side.
Had a dinner meetup with friends , the main dish was the cray fish with what I think is the chilli crab sauce. The spread was reasonable , the dessert of durian pengat was good and tasty. Some of my friends had 2 -3 bowls each. Overall a nice place to have a Buffett dinner
great atmosphere for a grp gathering and the food spread is good too!
Prawns were very fresh. Love the kueh pie tee and laksa.
Great hospitality by staff and been a repeated customer for past 2 years.
Food is decent and environment is good. Able to chat with friends and enjoy the food.
Value was soso for the lunch buffet spread. Quality of the food was also sub par it seems :|
nice ambience to chill with friends, and enjoying the food and talking
We have a wonderful dinner experience at Ellenborough market cafe.
The spread was pretty good. Service was attentive as well.
Went there for foie gras buffet. Food was good but the environment was a bit noisy And had to wait in queue for payment…
Nothing special to highlight on the food, not very authentic peranakan food, desserts is good.
Food variety quite limited, and some dishes took quite a while to be refilled. The signature durian pengnat is still delicious. Staff service is good, and there’s a parking redemption for 1st 2 hrs for buffet diners
Great service and attentive waiters. My mom really enjoyed her lunch at the restaurant. Food selection could be better, it was quite lacking in my opinion and some menu items (eg. Buah keluak) were missing but still acceptable.
Lunch buffet Wed 12 Mar 2025 It’s been about a year since I was last here. The food is similar. Reasonable localish selection. What I usually like: ayam buah keluak, durian pengat, rojak, laksa, pie tee, cold prawns, western desserts. There is usually a large fish. Do note, there is NO: roast, oysters, sashimi, crab of any sort, no satay, no baked lapis cake. It was not crowded today, and Elsa gave us superb service. She was friendly, professional and could communicate well. She also enjoys her job, I think. They give finger bowls here. Fewer places seem to have these nowadays. Aircon was a bit warm. Food overall ok. But just about ok. Somehow lacks the X factor of “yummy”. Nevertheless, this is a good buffet, if you manage to pay a “good” price. 😉
Widespread of food choices. Excellent customer service from staff and managers.
We had a wonderful experience! Great selection of food too!
Had dinner here as there was a credit card promotion of 50% off. Food choices pretty good, staff a little clueless and the tight spaces means noise level can’t be kept to a minimum. Overall not a bad choice especially if you want to bring your overseas guests to try out local food in a comfortable environment.
Multiple visits to the restaurant. Valuable with the 50 off card promotion.
Wow the buffet here was superb and was on a special promotion of 50% off! Laksa broth was superb and the oysters were big and fresh. Highly recommended to visit here and try out their dinner buffet while the promo is still on 😍😍
Staff was attentive and very courteous. Nice experience and love it.
I like taking guests from overseas to dine at this restaurant as it offers a range of local dishes for them to try and enjoy. This visit was good, as the crowd on a weekday evening was less than on a weekend. The only thing was that I found the dips at the kebab station (hummus, tzatziki and baba ghanoush) tasted strange. I make these dishes at home and know what they're meant to taste like, these ones were too sour and I couldn't tell if the chef added too much acid, or the who thing was off. I have given feedback to the kitchen, the staff were very polite about it.
Unless you are there to eat salmon sashimi and cold prawn. The other food taste just like your normal cai Peng store.
Love this place . Honestly , there’s a lot of food to enjoy . Seafood on ice is very fresh. Snowy crab legs are big and meaty ! Only 2 items that do not suit my liking: 1. The Nonya Kueh is a bit disappointing… kind of not so tasty . 2. The chap chye - too much dried shrimps (overwhelm by dried shrimp ). Your staff are really friendly and efficient. Keep it up. Thank you
Very good place for the get together with my family
Went for the durian buffet. It was great and cosy. Buffet food was good too.
This is my second time visit. Good buffet deal with the promotion.
Overall it was good. Except that the bbq prawns was not refilled even though it was only slightly after 8pm. Cakes should have more varieties. Thanks
Had a great time and good food with the family.
Value for money. Will visit again in future with friends.
Disappointed that do not serve sashimi during lunch I miss it
Great value for money for weekday dinner. Good spread of food. Of course, our favourite is the Durian Pengat.
Decent variety of local and international dishes available, although the lunch spread this time was less than when I last came in Dec 2023. Service staff were really friendly and efficient, they coped well with the crowd.
Value for the paid. Staff are friendly. Enjoyed our dinner.
The food are good and the staff will make sure they clear the plate after used.
Niceeeee.. but not many food to choose from.. staff service is very very good though..
The welcome staff at the reception was not very rude even I request to change my seating area. Although we were 10 mins earlier before the buffet start, her tone to remind us was not friendly at all. The dessert and food were not fantastic as before especially the dessert like red bean soup and green bean soup (was tasteless diluted to too much water with no pandan smell). With the kind of price that i paid for this buffet, I will not recommend anyone to go again ... so sorry to say that.
half price was a good deal. not many variety on seafood nor sushi. bottomline more choices please? thanks
The variety was good and we have a 50% discount under bank promo. Dun like the rice roll (sushi) as little hard.
The taste of the food did not seem to be as good as the previous round
Long queue waiting to get oyster, some fruits does not serve again even though I ask the server. Noise level can be improve although it acceptable on a weekend. Hot beverage should have some English breakfast tea or Chinese tea bag. And hope can have some fresh fruits juice.
Had the buffet lunch today, service is good here and 1 for 1 lunch buffet
