Daegwol is a stylish restaurant that aims to bring about harmony through food. It’s the first restaurant from a team that hopes to bring many more to Singapore, a team that worked in Busan, Korea for three years and so knows how varied Korean cuisine can be. As such, it made sense that Daegwol be launched as a Korean restaurant that focuses on more than just barbecue, meaning you can expect all kinds of vibrant Korean soups and small plates like Galbi Jjim beef short ribs in soy sauce. You’ll find Daegwol Singapore on Tras Street, not far at all from Tanjong Pagar MRT and a restaurant you certainly ought to be heading to with an advanced reservation in hand.
Great food and quick service. It was Saturday evening but the place was quiet, only had us and another customer. The Galbi soup had great flavour and the meat was tender. The seafood tofu soup was average.
