Customer service oriented. Great experience dining, the foods absolutely tempting. Their fishes are freshly cooked and side dishes are so amazing. Will definitely visit on the next.

Food variety is good but pricey. Not much ambience. The golden snapper was fresh; it was however not very big considering we ordered the large one (We were told the medium was not available). The ambra was expensive. We ordered 3 cups (lots of ice and not a lot of ambra) and they cost us more than a side dish of chicken! Our order of a fish, a chicken side fish, 3 cups of ambra and a Tsingtao beer cost us almost $120, just slightly less than the price of a dinner buffet. Will probably try another place in the area the next time.

As the name suggests, people come here to eat grilled fish, especially in mala style. I believe this is one of the original Chinese grilled fish restaurants that was set up in Singapore because it has been here at Mosque St for a very long time before other players came in.

Poor service ! The crew is not attentive and they couldn’t handle the crowd, chasing customer and yet the food service was way too slow. Service crew even showed black face and we were told to wait, not even coming back to us for order. Will not patronise the branch in Mosque Street ! Male Supervisor attitude is not acceptable. Overall, disappointment for my birthday celebration.

Nice staffs, good service. I ordered Patin fish, fish is small. Better to indicate the weigh of fish in menu. We sit at corner near entrance, another table just next to us vertically which make our space is very narrow

The environment is very good and the food is of high quality. A great collection of other Chinese food except grilled fish is provided. The drinks are really attractive, especially the blue ocean.

Overall was good except that there was only 3 types of fish available for the day. Even Patin have to wait for 10 mins according to the staff. But I don’t mind waiting. The staff are very friendly especially the old Aunty.

Food was average, had to wait till all members were present before entering but there were plenty of seats in the restaurant. The staff could have been flexible in this matter. The seating area was too cramp and we could not squeeze into our seats. We had to shift the tables ourselves, with the staff standing and staring at the side.

Food was served up promptly. Order two grilled fish plus side dishes. However, with two burners for each fish, the liquid evaporated faster than you can eat the fish., causing one of the ingredients in the fish to become burnt.

The grilled fish and hot pot intestine were precooked, chilled, then dunk in hot soup or pot to serve. And the hotpot was so salty that I had consumed a weeks work of sodium from one dish. Some service staff are good but some cannot make it.

Servers should be more attentive when taking orders and shouldn't ask the customer to do feedback for them when customer is eating. Will definitely visit again as we really liked the grilled fish!
