The food taste was very nice especially the seafood. Made the online reservation so no waiting time. Sure will come back again and will recommend to others.

Great seafood suitable for large family gatherings. Something for everyone. service was good as well. Kong bak Pau in particular was flavorful and juicy!

We shared one chili crab, which was very expensive (79$!!) and of very poor quality as well as the accompanying sauce, the vegetables tasted like pure glutamate and the crispy baby squids didn’t taste like squids at all, only sweet and crispy. On top of all of that, we were charged extra for a few peanuts and paper napkins. The total amount of the 3 above mentioned dishes + extras (nuts, napkins) and 4 beers was 171 Sg $ - ridiculous! What has happened to this place which used to be good - years ago...

Quality of food is still good despite a busy eve of the eve of Chinese New Year. Always a fav place for the family when we want fresh seafood dishes.

Even with reservation of 7.30pm and although we have reached the restaurant at 7.10pm , we are still required to wait till 7.50pm to be seated. However, glad that the Food and service was excellent .

The waiters and waitresses were friendly . The fish garoupa was fresh and the dish was tasty. However the toufoo with crab meat was not up to my standard of taste.

The crab beehoon (with gravy, not soup) is awesome! Unforgettable indeed! The crispy roast chicken was too dry for my family’s liking though. I won’t order that the next time I’m there. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff!

Very good and fresh seafood. The best part is you can bring your own wine without corkage fee. Great service and reasonably priced. One of my favourite place in town.

We sat outside this time. It was raining so we were expecting for the place to be cool. Still, it’s pretty warm. D staff serve with their hearts and food is good like always.

Excellence fresh live seafood, especially the Alaska Grabs cooked with wok hei bee hoon. But the service can be better e.g. Product knowledge, attentiveness, top up tea.

Quick and excellent service, consistently great food and BYO wine (after order of beer). Tried the Golden Sauce Prawns for the first time. It was rich and creamy and you will need those Mantou buns to mop up! The crispy baby squid in rojak sauce is always great as a starter.

We had a great New Year's eve dinner at Chin Huat Seafood. The chilli crab we ordered was reasonably priced and very fresh. We ordered several other items such as tofu with scallop, sweet and sour pork and fried rice and everything was delicious. Although it was very crowded that night, service was efficient and prompt and staff were friendly and helpful as always. Will highly recommend if you are looking for fresh seafood.

Fantastic Crabs especially with the Golden Sauce; a must to order. Very good and reasonably fast service. Location of the restaurant can be located easily and the restaurant very spacious and clean.

Overall, the food was good. Service also good. The only problem is pricing. For example, the chilled pomfret costs $90.00. The size was normal and not live fish.

Good old-fashioned Chinese cooking! Can taste the 'heat' and passion in each dish. Authentic yet unusual dishes executed with such finesse. No wonder Chin Huat has endured the test of time and passing fads! A gem in the western area. Cannot wait to come back!

The food and service was good as usual. However, we were a bit disappointed as some of the seafood we wanted to order were not available.

Fantastic seafood dishes which are fresh and delicious. Value for money compared to other seafood restaurants. The coconut pudding is a must, so leave some room in your stomach for it!

Excellent place for a seafood meal! Alaskan Crab was extremely fresh. We ordered the steamed and pumpkin sauce and it was superb! Service was very good. This will continue to be our annual Alaskan crab go-to venue!

food is fantastic as usual. staff were also very efficient and were able to recommend popular dishes, but were also not pushy. We initially booked for a table outdoors as that was the only available option in the app at that time, but staff were able to allocate an indoor table to us as the previous guest had just finished.

As we were early the number of diners were fewer so we had like 3 waters/waitresses serving to our table. Food is great and prices reasonable. If unsure they make good recommendations without being pushy. Definitely come back again. Must try - cereal prawns, Hakka abacus, Kong bak bao, coconut dessert, orh nee ie the yam and pumpkin dessert, chilli crab .....

Their Chilli Crabs are also good next to the golden pumpkin sauce. they are great with their mantou. Also highly recommend their homemade crab beancurd & caramelised pork rib in red wine. *thumbs up!

Good service plus reasonable priced food. The only setback is if u sit outside , it can b noisy . If al fresco sitting , can be hot on a hot day

The best seafood restaurant in Singapore in terms of food and service quality. Prices are much more reasonable than the other famous chilli crab restaurants. Apart from seafood, the coconut dessert is A must try

Service at the seafood restaurant was superb. Was there with my family for mums bday celebration. Staff and boss came over at the cake cutting ceremony to give their regards at the end of the meal. Food was great, esp the Kong Bak Bao and chilli crab with Mantou. We found the asparagus with XO sauce especially pricey at $40 though.

If u like wok hei, this is this place to come. You must order the crab bee Hoon. No regrets. But I would prefer if they don’t cover the crab with too much flour prior frying.

Food and ambience was okay. Service by the stuffs was great.Will recommend friends to this place in the future. Surprisingly we manage to get a parking lot quite fast as area was situated at HDB area.

The pumpkin sauce crab still taste just as good, but the chilli crab was a letdown as compared to the last time I had. The younger service staff were all very polite and helpful however the boss appeared to be high and mighty.

Super good food. Fresh seafood every single time. Very prompt service. They are quite busy, but if you get their attention, they can be very prompt. Just ask nicely.
