Chilly crab is so fresh and tasty! However it's quite big for 2 people :D The service is great too. You should try once in Singapore

The person who took the orders only push their highest price item from every category. Seems to be a commission based sales man rather than a service staff. Their crab is totally disappointing. Don’t be deceived by the size, the crabs were rather small and empty inside.. Be it the food or service, overall a very bad experience. This will definitely be our last visit.

The food is really good. Seafood is fresh. Try the pumpkin sauce crabs..yummy. The lady boss and joyce and staff are really friendly. Will be back again.

Food like always is good. Seafood is fresh n the seafood beehoon and beef hor fun have a lot of wok hei, which is d real reason we keep returning. Price is reasonable too. We saw some new dishes. Will try the next time.

We ordered steam fish, salted egg eggplant, braised pork, we find the meals ok, ordinary but with generous serving. Excellent service crew! 5 stars to the service crews!

The seafood is fresh and the service staff are friendly. One of them is a more senior lady who gave good advise eg offered suggestions of ways to have the Alaska crab and also honest suggestion that what we ordered would be too much for 5 person. Indeed she was right - the portion was just right and there was no wastage.

3rd visit to Chin Huat. This time is for family lunch. Thumbs up for service and food. Staff is courteous. Ambience is great. Good job.

Always our fav restaurant as the food is fresh and price is reasonable. Service can b slow if many there are many diners . Other than that , ovearall experience is fantastic

Probably the best local seafood in Singapore. Vegetable not greasy. Crabs are fresh and meaty. Dessert is refreshing and not overly sweet. I think they actually care

Food was good, staff were friendly. Price is on the high side for some dishes. Especially the asparagus. Didn't know had to add $6 more for the XO sauce😣.

Always love the service and food here. We were seated in the air conditioned area and my mom felt cold cos our seat was directly in front of two Aircon vents. The staff was very helpful and flexible in letting us change to the next empty table.

Tried their beef hor fun. It was fantastic...the beef slices were tender...the black bean sauce was thick and good. Value for money too! Their poached prawns in chinese wine are highly recommendable...they are very fresh and succulent which always entice us to order them each time we patronise Chin Huat.

Fresh Crab is the best. Crispy bun dip on pumpkin sauce. Seafood fried rice with fine chopped broccoli and nice coated egg rice. However dine in took us 2.5hrs long. Waiting time...

The food was good. Since we were told to pre-order, we didn’t have to wait for a little time before the dishes we’re served. Thanks for calling me in the afternoon to pre-order.

Transport is not easy to there, also indoor tables with air con are too little. The foods are good with reasonable prices. Staff are nice too.

Excellent service and recommendations on featured dishes for the month are always spot on and prices are reasonable! We have never been disappointed whenever we dine at Chin Huat. The restaurant is always crowded 7 days a week; that alone speaks for itself.

Chin Huat services were great, they will make sure the customers are comfortable and giving out apron to protect theirs clothing and food awesome especially the crabs.

Sri Lanka Crab- very fresh 👍 Abacus yam and Hokkien noodles- too salty Must remember to highlight request of less salty upon placing orders 😉

Enjoy the food and ambiance. Service is good. Food is delicious and live up to their names. Just that the Claypot Hokkien noodles was a bit too salty. Otherwise would deserve a 6 for rating.

We had a great dinner. Food was still as good as before though it is a little bit pricey. We will visit the restaurant again!

The salted egg crab is the best, yet the lemon chicken is really delicious too. Everything are so fresh and place is kinda full with families having their weekend lunch. Although it was not really easy to find the restaurant, but the visit really worthed. Better/should make reservation, and I am glad, they have it online now.

The serving size of the foods was sufficient and tasted good. Most staffs carried a smile when serving us and they were also polite. We were charged for 11 pax for the tea, but it was diluted after the first round. Till the 4-5 dishes, the tea tasted almost like plain water.

The service was excellent. Except for the steamed fish, all other dishes we had ordered were prepared well. The steamed fish was served quite late and was “ rubbery”, probably was prepared and kept in the kitchen for sometime before the waitress took notice of it to serve on our table.

Cold crab is a must. Recommended and outside seating is fine.

we were there on a Wednesday night. Crowd is healthy seafood is fresh and nice. crab flesh fullness is so-so only. method of cooking doesn't impress much. very nice coconut desert.

Seafood in general was slightly above average. Fresh and juicy. Drunken prawns have the best soup! However, Chin Huat may want to consider doing something about the falling leaves from the trees for outdoor seating. Really isn't v pleasant to see your food being "added" with nature's addition every few mins. Management didn't want to roll the shelter out because it will make it v humid to enjoy the food. Then do something about it! If the fans aren't effective, then do something about it!

Great seafood at reasonable prices. Despite the restaurant bring full, service was responsive and good. The pepper crab and claypot garoupa fillet were very yummy.

Fresh and quality seafood with generally good service. But on weekends, only allowing 1.5hr for dining is a little rushed to enjoy all the food.
