Dining at Cherry Garden promises superb Cantonese cuisine and, as one of the most beautiful restaurants in Singapore, the ideal location for a special evening. Designed according to feng shui, you enter the restaurant through an antique doorway into a space whose teak panels and slate floors recreate the splendour of an Oriental residence. Using seasonal produce, the menu of authentic Cantonese dishes changes regularly, with a list of old and new world wines specially chosen to match the menu plus Chinese tea. In addition to the main dining area, two private rooms – Lotus and Jasmine – can seat up to 12 guests each or be combined, while Bamboo is larger, seating 24. Located at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Singapore’s Raffles Avenue, minutes from City Hall, Promenade or Esplanade stations in the Marina Bay and Marina Square precincts, Cherry Garden’s accessibility is the icing on the cake, encouraging repeat visits to this unique Chinese restaurant in Singapore.
Experience an early meal in an entirely new way with Cherry Garden’s dim sum brunch. Available on weekends from 11am to 1pm and 1:30 to 3:30 pm, this unique dining experience is not to be missed. With offerings like deep-fried escargot dumplings and crispy bean curd rolls filled with prawn and mango, these out-of-the-ordinary choices are sure to impress even the most hard-core Marina Bay brunch aficionados.
If you’ve been looking for the perfect location to host your next celebration or event, Cherry Garden has three private dining rooms for hire in addition to its main seating area. With a rotating selection of menu items like the oven-baked honey-marinated cod filet with black pepper or the sweet and sour Kurobuta pork with pineapple, cucumber and capsicum, guests have access to some of the very finest Cantonese specialties in all of Singapore. Located at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Singapore’s Raffles Avenue, Cherry Garden at Marina Square is the perfect spot for your next special meal, but don’t forget to make reservations first!
Food and service are excellent! They are very kids friendly and served each dish with a smile! And even prepare a birthday cake for my hubby ! Would visit again !
we had the dim sum brunch; food was excellent and tasty.. service was attentive. beautiful ambience. value for money. would definitely recommend and return 👍🏻
Highly recommend outstanding food coupled with friendly and attentive service and a the wonderful Madarin Orienal atmosphere will certainly be returing. was busy so recomnend reservations.
Good service. 1. The mandarin oriental reservation hotline called me 1 day ago to reconfirme. 2. The service at restaurant was prompt, polite as well as accommodation. 4. Food is exquisite and delicious. We paticularly like siau mai, pumpking soup, porridge, steamed prawn. The so so dishes are chia siu and wagyu beef with spinach.
Ambience was nice, food was good. But service was below expectation. For a restaurant of this class, we expected more prompted service and for the food to be served faster. We had to wave our handsite in the air for several times before we get the attention of someone to take our orders. And one soup order came wrong. As for the slow pace of serving, we would have expected the restaurant to live up to its reputation. E.get. forsee the demands and allocate more kitchen resources to ensure that food are cooked and served faster. Overall ok experience, yummy food but the long wait had made us full before we have the appetite to enjoy the varieties.
I consider Cherry Garden one of the restaurants that I must bring my prestige customer to patronize. The service and food has always been maintained. One of my favorite restaurant in Singapore.
Very good service and the dim sum brunch buffet is very worthwhile if you are going with 4 or 5 friends. Huge variety of dishes too. They even offered a piece of birthday cake for my birthday! Thank you Quandoo and Mandarin Oriental. Will be back again.
Great service, excellent food. A bit exey but it is Singapore after all. best course was the vegetable dish (string beans with pork mince), but ll were good. Surprised by the fish which came in strips, deep fried with a delicious sauce. Expected a piece of fish. It had a good balance of flavours though. .
We sat next to a family with a really annoying loud lady commanding orders, disrupting the peace and quiet. Apart from that, the place had a nice ambience, good service, good food and good menu selection. The meal would have been more relaxing if there wasn't a restricted time frame to order.
Some orders were not served at all. There was only slightly over an hour to order items if you booked for the dim sum brunch as the last order ends 30min before the end of the 2 hour session and the dishes took a while to get served (no complaints on the quality of food as they prepare the food only upon your order). Overall, a little overpriced for an ideally relaxed dim sum session over the weekend.
