Tasty food and lots of selections in the menu to choose from
Friendly staff and good service. Affordable and great prices given the nice and relaxed setting. Food can be served hotter as some dishes came warm and cooled down very quickly as the aircon is quite strong.
Set including a drink was served in Peranakan styled tingkat. Food is well seasoned and tasteful. My friend found it bit spicy (haha). We had to rush our lunch abit as they want to close post mid day on time at 2;30pm. I’ll probably visit again, if I am in vicinity and set is available as pricing is on higher side.
good place to go for interesting cocktails and good peranakan food
had the set lunch. nice staff and good presentation of food.
Very good set lunches, got to try a little of everything, all cooked very well
Service was good and not pushy, when we asked if there were enough dishes, they told us yes and that we can always order more later. Food was not bad.
Nice food and drinks. Place closes early at 10 so try to go early so you can finish
Decent food offerings with interesting cocktail offerings at fairly affordable prices
good stuff, good vibes. Tingkat instagrammable and looks nice. More food in the set pls
tingkat set is quite delicious but hope their portion size is bigger
Very crowded on a Friday evening. Reservations required. Food was authentic.
very nice and filling tasting menu. we enjoyed the food. worth a try
We (a group of 5) had a great experience, the food and beverages were excellent, and the service very friendly.
Went to the restaurant after watching the review by the GetFed (Overkill) team. This is my second visit. Food was good overall though the sampler set food was kind of cold. I wanted to try the pancake with banana sauce for dessert but it was not available that day. The kaya tiramisu was good though but the piece is quite small for the price. I think I will try the big plates next time since now I know which of the dishes I like from the sampler set.
Restaurant with a nice ambience at SCCC. Dishes are reasonably priced and the nasi ulam was absolutely delicious! Portion good for 2-3 pax. Wasn’t a fan of the chicken meatballs however, too much star anise and lemon grass and texture wasn’t quite expected. Overall lovely place!
The food was good but the portion is a bit small for the price we paid
Food was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.
quite cozy restaurant and nice relaxing ambience. used entertainer 1for1 promo so the food were quite worth it. the quality of the food is not bad although some dishes could be served more warm
Quality of dishes are good with indulgence set. Just a reminder - blue pea rice is a little hard
The Tingkat Set Lunch is tasty.Howexver, the potion is a bit small.
Food was good - brought my foreign boss who came to visit and it was the perfect place! Lunch only serves meals in tingkat so it was really good
came to an empty restaurant on a rainy day and enjoyed the edible cocktails very much
Food is always good here and staff are really very friendly. Love the cocktails here and glad that happy hour runs until 8pm every day of the week!
Cherki’s food and cocktails are always great! Always enjoy coming back here
amazing food, must try their laksa linguini crab pasta and pork belly
Nice restaurant with good service and decent fusion food. Really enjoyed the peranakan fusion dish and interesting drinks of both alcoholic and non alcoholic
Located on the ground floor of the Chinese Cultural Centre, this Peranakan restaurant offers a unique dining experience. The space features a bar at one end, surrounded by tables, and shares restroom facilities with the Chinese Call Centre next door. The cocktails here are truly the highlight and quite innovative. The Sop Story, a sour soup-inspired cocktail, arrived in a basket with dry ice and sauce on the side. Once mixed together, it became more of an alcoholic dessert than a typical drink, as it included semi-solid gin. It was a surprising and intriguing experience. The second drink, Loquat Elixir, was a gin-infused longan cocktail served in a sake container—light, refreshing, and memorable. Finally, the Street Side Signature offered a creative twist on alcoholic cendol, which was both fun and delicious. As for the food, the quality was a bit hit-or-miss. The truffle duck Polish fell short—it was dry and could have benefited from a sauce to enhance its flavor. However, the laksa lobster Kueh Pie Tee was excellent, with crispy shells filled with rich lobster, though at $20 for four pieces, it felt a little steep. The signature kerabu crab noodles were enjoyable, and the beef cheek rendang was flavorful, with a rich sauce and tender (albeit slightly fatty) beef cheeks. The accompanying blue pea rice was a nice touch and complemented the dish well. The combination of two starters, noodles, a main, and two servings of rice left us so full that we skipped dessert. Service was attentive, with staff providing detailed explanations of the cocktails, which added to the overall experience. On a quiet Sunday night, the restaurant was almost empty apart from one other table, so the atmosphere was subdued. While the food was interesting, it’s the cocktails that truly stand out. We’d recommend visiting primarily for the innovative drinks, as they are the true stars of the menu.
Nice cozy place. Quiet on weekend evening. Food was good but limited options.
Food was surprisingly good and service was also good! Would try the dry laksa next time
Love the ambience and also food was not bad! Will come back for their unique cocktails.
A quiet restaurant flying slightly under the radar. Good if you love peranakan food.
Hidden little gem. Wouldn't go all the time as it's a little pricey and out of the way, but the food is good and it's a nice atmosphere.
Food is really good and it isn’t crowded so it’s great!
went when there was 1-1 on burpple beyond. food was great, traditional with a modern twist. enjoyed it alot!
I made reservation for 3 pax well ahead of time, almost 6 weeks before the concert date, however, when we arrived, the server pointed us to a table at a dark corner, when there were many better seats for 4 by the wall where it was brighter. He told us if we insist to take the table by the wall at the middle, we will have to finish our food in an hour's time. I cannot understand why even though we made reservation well ahead of time, priority for better table was not given. The food is overall ok, there were many same few sauces used for different dishes. we tried the Baba squid, were disappointed because the squid was not fresh and was rather tasteless.
The food was really quite bad. The pork ball in the soup disintegrated. Seafood was not fresh and of poor quality. Everything was either bland or overly sweetened.
Generally good food, nice atmosphere, and attentive service. Bonus is the 1 for 1 on burpple/entertainer.
service was great at cherki as usual. cocktails are unique.
Nice place to dine away from the crowd. Good choice of menu with affordable prices. Will visit again
Food is nice, waiters and waitress can be more attentive if possible. Would suggest if there can be picture in the menu would be more ideal since we not familiar with nyoya food. We ordered a “banana blossom x x x “ thinking is some dish with banana, never thought it made from banana flower. Overall good dining experience here
Good ambience and reasonably priced tasty food. Will definitely return.
Ordered the lunch set with dessert. Satay chicken, pork belly and rice pancakes are delicious. Pongteh duck linguine is decent.
The rendang beef linguine is a first for me. Love the strong flavor of the dish
it was a quiet evening. we managed to try 3 cocktails and their anniversary duck confit which was nothing short of amazing. sadly didn't have room for dessert. can't wait to go back
nice place to have a meal there and the background music is good.
Good value & tasty though portions are on the smaller side. Great for a weekday catch up with a friend in CBD. A little off the usual venues but still within the city.
interesting variety of food, great service. Will be back again!
Restaurant is cosy and nice. More atas Peranakan food. Food is not bad as well but it's more on sweet side
Had lunch at the restaurant. Ordered the set lunch and picked the buah keluak chicken fried rice for the mains, and sambal winged beans and satay chicken for the sides. The fried rice is a tad too salty and oily for my liking but the sides are delicious. Also had a flat white and it was good. Service is prompt and friendly
