Atmosphere was good, portions were of decent size, and service was ok (a busy Friday evening). Food quality was generally fine save for the pork chop special. It was somewhat bland, despite the presence of onions. It seemed a waste of a good cut of pork - a little disappointing. Not as good a meal as I have had on previous occasions. Prices appear to have also increased slightly. On the whole, it was a satisfactory meal, and I'll be back.

Never a boring moment at Bistro Du Vin -- the freshness and culinary mastery of the dishes served here will leave you craving for more! Too bad our stomachs weren't stretchy enough or else we would have ordered even more to excite our tastebuds!

Ad the set lunch with top-ups for the better quality dishes. Great food and very generous portions! Too bad the opening hours are pretty short, but will be back again.

It was the first time my wife and I visited Bistro du Vin @ Shaw Centre. We were very impressed with the quality of food (we had the Escargots, French Onion Soup, Duck Confit, Braised Beef Cheeks and Crème Burlee), the cosy ambience and excellent service (the staff was there when you need them and give you the necessary privacy). Will definitely visit again.

Nice food and ambiance. The only criticism is that the tables are too close together. This means that if the people next to you are having loud conversations it can impact of the relaxed ambience of the restaurant.

Excellent and authentic french cuisine. Nice ambience in the restaurant too. Experience at restaurant would have been better if the service staff were more attentive. French music should be played in restaurant rathert than other popular music

Friendly and attentive staff. One of the staff remembers that my mom ordered warm water and he made sure he kept refiling it with warm water throughout our dinner. Food was awesome and the Warm Chocolate oohhh la la! Not too sweet, it was the right texture and taste.

I love French Provincial food and Bistro du Vin gives you that touch which is better than the Bistros in Paris. Great atmosphere and service. I had the Christmas menu and the quail parcel was exquisite. The herb crusted venison was done to perfection and was v tender and full of flavour. Also want to commend Philippe Pau who came around and spoke to the guests. Use him more!! What a great guy he is.

This is 6th time I've visited bistro du vin at shaw. That's because they serve amazing food in a relaxed and wonderful environment with excellent staff. My personal favorite added touch is the freshly baked 'free flow' bread.

Not too busy, and a smallish restaurant, so the staff are attentive and service oriented. Food's the homely, unpretentious sort of fare you really find in a casual restaurant in France.

The restaurant was fully reserved when we arrived. Lucky for us, we had made a reservation. We ordered the duck confit (my fiancee's favourite main course from there) and their special pork chop. Needless to say, both were good!

My 2nd time here in 2 weeks and have enjoyed it both times. Highly recommend the French Onion Soup, Pan seared scallops, foie gras, stuffed trotter with chicken mousse, grilled iberico pork collar and the grand marnier souffle. Service staff were also friendly and attentive. Overall experience was very good. Spent about $75 per head without alcohol.

Seamless experience from booking to dining to payment. Special thanks to the young male bistro du vin waiter (we saw that he could toss the empty glass water bottles like a bartender!) who served us for being very prompt, attentive and customer-friendly in allowing us to takeaway one of the desserts as we were too full to stomach it.
