Fabulous food and getting to hear the wonderful Alemay Fernandez sing - what an amazing evening!
a simple meal after a movie. It hit the spot with what we ordered
The acoustic was poor. Made the place rather noisy and loud
Warm and cosy atmosphere, but rather noisy. Food was very good, especially the classic French dishes. Service was attentive and pleasant. 👍
Ok not too bad i was busy enjoying my time with my pal
Less choice as usual and smaller portions but tasty and best mousse of chocolate
Thank you for the great service and the amazing food! Thanks also for the candles touch on my wife dessert for her birthday. Great service as well from all!
A cosy place for lunch. We made reservation as this place is packed on weekend. We had 2 sets of 3 course menu. The French onion soup was thick and melted cheese to chew. Foie gras was well fried and had a good bite with the condiments. The lemon sole was pan fried to perfection at the edges and well flavoured with the rich butter. It was however quite saltish to my liking. The pork loin was surprisingly tender and had a flavourful sauce with capers. The mashed potato was very smooth, very good The cream brûlée was served in a shallow dish. The burnt sugar was too much for the brûlée, resulting in the dessert been too sweet. The chocolate mousse was thicker and very chocolaty. Love it! The staff were attentive and friendly. Would be back to try other dishes on the menu
Great evening but I have been to Bistro du Vin for a very long time and they have increased price a lot up to a level where it feels not right - this is much more expensive than other French brasseries in Singapore - this should be reviewed - it makes me hesitant to go back again!
We love the food and everything is fine. Will try again for sure
Nice to be back to a restaurant after a couple of years and find that the quality of food remains the same. Enjoyed my dinner catch up with my friend.
Very friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious - foie gras; onion soup, duck confit.
Lovely homey atmosphere. Service was warm and food generous. Highly recommend
The lemon tart was below par. It tasted as if it had been stored with savoury things. The souffle could have been more light and fluffy. The service was great and so was the "cosy French restaurant" vibe.
It was good to visit again and we’ve been a faithful customer for over 10 years now.We witnessed many changes and the concept of Bistro still same and we loved the classic style and food definitely we enjoyed.
Très bon resto Menu authentique avec des produits frais Je recommande
Good food and ambience remind me of dinning in Paris.
Very good service and food was fantastic especially the steak
The Christmas Chorale and Singers were absolutely totally magnificent +++++++++++
The food was great & the service team was excellent!
Love the food and coffee. Lunch price is more affordable, great for a quiet afternoon
Perfect delicious food with friendly staff! It’s my very 1st experience dine in this restaurant. Definitely will be back soon
Food was delicious. Portion of steak is too big for me. It a little wasted that I can’t finis. Onion soup was spot on!
Food was amazing! The waitress who served us was super thoughtful! We ordered the French onion soup and told her that it was for sharing. She then requested to the chefs to serve our soup in individual bowl, so that we did not have to do that on our own! A pity that we did not get her name. We wanted to thank her for going the extra mile! We loved everything about the restaurant! Will definitely come back again and recommend our friends too!
Nice vibe, best described as elegantly relaxed. Staff attentive and polite. Had the set lunch and the food was nice. French portions are smaller than american-sized portions but quality ingredients used, well prepared and filling. Overall a delightful experience. Thank you.
Repeat customer. Good food and nice ambience. Will be back.
Everything is excellent! Thank you !! Will go back again soon!
Nice food, love the Xmas specials. Mains can be a bit small portion
Overall fantastic, Service was good, food was served at a steady pace, flavours are amazing.
Nice food , warm service however many guests and a bit noisy
Loved our visit - the guys at the restaurant were super friendly, all very warm and accomodating and the food was really good too. Would definitely come back for the nice cosy feel!
Once again to BDV while passing through lovely Singapore Had the snails, tasty and portionwise perfect as an appetiser Followed by their signature confit de canard, still one of the best The apple tart topped it off. Had an enjoyable evening :)
Delicious food! Always a pleasure to return to BDV :) Looking forward to the next visit and to new dishes on the menu.
This is my 2nd time and still my fave :)
One of my fav French bistro in Spore. Consistency of the food is always good.
Really great authentic French food with super nice attentive staff
Tres bon restaurant, ambiance conviviale et menu excellent. On recommande
Booked a nice lunch with a friend Excellent service staff was attentive and personable Salmon was undercooked - we both order the same salmon in the lunch menu
Always a favourite. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Perfectly cooked cod and melt in your mouth beef cheeks. Always too full for dessert lol
Bonne bouffe et bonne ambiance Petit resto très sympa mais un peu serré
Always a fabulous experience - perfect restaurant for a catch up with friends!
We had an amazing time at Bistro Du Vin. The service was so good, warm and friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing. The highlight for me was definitely the creme brulee, creamy custard with the crunchy sugar on top. Highly recommend this place.
Great French food in a small cozy bistro atmosphere. We even had live Blues playing in the background. Live this place!
Whether for lunch or dinner, Bistro du Vin is always a great choice. You can’t be disappointed. Looking forward to the next opportunity!
Wonderful as always - hearty, affordable and non-pretentious French food which is our favourite go-to restaurant for family occasions like birthdays!
Portions were good value for the prices. Food quality was good, and food tasted delicious. Relaxed and casual atmosphere and service was attentive and good.
Cosy vibes, food was ok but in my opinion I think it used to be better.
Beautiful cosy space with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and whimsical touches (the tongue-in-cheek labels on the water bottles, the road signs reading “thirsty square” in French) set the scene for a convivial evening. Philippe, your host, is jovial and open-hearted, treating each guest like a family member. The food, served by each member of staff with genuine pride, is utterly delicious- melt in the mouth steaks, robust pâté, crunchy farmhouse-style bread paired with creamy, salty butter… authentic, unpretentious, robust French cuisine. The wines (after all, this is Bistro du Vin!) pair perfectly with the food, and Philippe is on hand to offer advice if required, or stimulate the budding young sommelier in the family. Dessert should not be missed- masterful pairings of pastry, cakes, or poached fruits with rich sauces and ice-creams to balance out the decadence, leaving a satisfying fresh taste on the tongue. Finally, Philippe appears again, cheekily offering a little something to finish the meal- perfect!
Excellent food, superb wine , will be back thank you !
Great set lunch menu which changes based on seasons. Excellent service!
