Warm and cosy atmosphere, but rather noisy. Food was very good, especially the classic French dishes. Service was attentive and pleasant. 👍

A cosy place for lunch. We made reservation as this place is packed on weekend. We had 2 sets of 3 course menu. The French onion soup was thick and melted cheese to chew. Foie gras was well fried and had a good bite with the condiments. The lemon sole was pan fried to perfection at the edges and well flavoured with the rich butter. It was however quite saltish to my liking. The pork loin was surprisingly tender and had a flavourful sauce with capers. The mashed potato was very smooth, very good The cream brûlée was served in a shallow dish. The burnt sugar was too much for the brûlée, resulting in the dessert been too sweet. The chocolate mousse was thicker and very chocolaty. Love it! The staff were attentive and friendly. Would be back to try other dishes on the menu

Great evening but I have been to Bistro du Vin for a very long time and they have increased price a lot up to a level where it feels not right - this is much more expensive than other French brasseries in Singapore - this should be reviewed - it makes me hesitant to go back again!

The lemon tart was below par. It tasted as if it had been stored with savoury things. The souffle could have been more light and fluffy. The service was great and so was the "cosy French restaurant" vibe.

Food was amazing! The waitress who served us was super thoughtful! We ordered the French onion soup and told her that it was for sharing. She then requested to the chefs to serve our soup in individual bowl, so that we did not have to do that on our own! A pity that we did not get her name. We wanted to thank her for going the extra mile! We loved everything about the restaurant! Will definitely come back again and recommend our friends too!

Nice vibe, best described as elegantly relaxed. Staff attentive and polite. Had the set lunch and the food was nice. French portions are smaller than american-sized portions but quality ingredients used, well prepared and filling. Overall a delightful experience. Thank you.

Once again to BDV while passing through lovely Singapore Had the snails, tasty and portionwise perfect as an appetiser Followed by their signature confit de canard, still one of the best The apple tart topped it off. Had an enjoyable evening :)

We had an amazing time at Bistro Du Vin. The service was so good, warm and friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing. The highlight for me was definitely the creme brulee, creamy custard with the crunchy sugar on top. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful cosy space with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and whimsical touches (the tongue-in-cheek labels on the water bottles, the road signs reading “thirsty square” in French) set the scene for a convivial evening. Philippe, your host, is jovial and open-hearted, treating each guest like a family member. The food, served by each member of staff with genuine pride, is utterly delicious- melt in the mouth steaks, robust pâté, crunchy farmhouse-style bread paired with creamy, salty butter… authentic, unpretentious, robust French cuisine. The wines (after all, this is Bistro du Vin!) pair perfectly with the food, and Philippe is on hand to offer advice if required, or stimulate the budding young sommelier in the family. Dessert should not be missed- masterful pairings of pastry, cakes, or poached fruits with rich sauces and ice-creams to balance out the decadence, leaving a satisfying fresh taste on the tongue. Finally, Philippe appears again, cheekily offering a little something to finish the meal- perfect!
