Food was below standard. Foie gras was still a tad bloody and steak was overcooked even though we requested for medium and medium rare. Service was average.

Both food and service were good and the set lunch was value for money. It would be perfect if only the ambience can be better.

Great food and good service. The ambiance is like being in a restaurant in France how it is situated at the side of the street.

This is the ideal place to try out traditional French food at an affordable price, in a laid back setting. The service staff were very attentive and friendly. This is definitely my go-to place if I crave for French food again.

They have very good value for money set lunch. Food is delicious, portion is generous and service is excellent. Restaurant ambience is casual yet cosy. Definitely recommended.

The service has improved but there is still room for improvement. The quality of the food remains consistent after re-opening. However I realised there has been a slight change to the price and the mains in the set lunch (i.e. duck confit requires additional $5 on top of the set lunch price)

Won't be visiting the restaurant anymore despite being a frequent diner there for the past few years. Poor and rude service encountered on at least two occasions by the same manager.

Great service, great food at a good location. Even my 13-year old son knows how to appreciate the ambience and food. What else can one ask for? Complete satisfaction and highly recommended.

The food was great. Especially the char-grilled ribeye steak that was done to my satisfaction. It was juicy, tender and delicious. However, the dressing for the salad was not being consulted. Service was good. Will be back in 3 months' time.

Service staff was attentive. We had the duck comfit and beef cheek and both were too salty. The beef cheek was very tender though. For dessert we had creme brulee and dark chocolate mousse. Both were good.

Great service and atmosphere, the plats du jour were all amazing! The food came out together which helped as we didn't have to wait for each other.

Nice atmosphere in this French cosy bistrot. We took steak and fries that tasted good, a bit salty for us but good quality. Le soufflé Grand Marnier was excellent. We took 2 glasses of wine that we found a bit too warm.

Service is good. Lunch set menu has changed, not too much to my liking, but overall good quality is good. Wish to have the signature apple tart for dessert, don't mind topping up abit as St not on set menu, but has to order ala carte.

The food was excellent and service a delight and all at very good value. The new decor makes the Bistro more contemporary and spacious and now with a more regularly changing menu.

The staff were as usual very attentive and helpful. Food is fantatic. One improvement needed: I feel there is a need to inform diners on what cheese is offered for "Cheese of the Day", as some cheese may be too over powering for some diners.

The food is delicious and Chef is very nice. He came out to get feedback from us. This is my favourite restaurant in SG. The only thing to improve is the wine list, tasted few glasses in the past, not that good.

I took lunch set. Appetizer is pretty good but main is normal. Lunch set cost is not so expensive, considering cost, quality is quite reasonable

After the renovation, portions are smaller, prices are higher. The half pidgeon wouldn't have filled an owl, much less a man's appetite. Have been coming here since they opened in 2008, so will give them one more chance. Phillipe's efforts at damage control were appreciated.

Excellent food and service. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The only difference between this and a cafe in Paris is the smiling staff and no smoking.

Both the service and food was good; we liked the new items in the menu, especially the white asparagus, the lobster bisque, the octopus salad. Both our main courses the steak and frites as well as the mussels was good too

Food was good and value for money. Unfortunately, poor service from wait staff. When asked for recommendations, just merely pointed to the Chef's recommendations on the board.

Great dining ambience and experience for my family. However, the duck leg confit and the half spring chicken were served in different preparation from my last visit quite some time back. Not a satisfied version for me.

We were shown to our table quickly as the restaurant was not too busy. The service staff was very patient in explaining the menu of the day. I guess it was a Sunday and the kitchen was probably not fully staffed as it took some time for our first course and subsequent main course to arrive. I had the veal shank, which was excellent. It is tasty and the meat just about falls off the bone. My 2 other companions who ordered the day's special, Brill fish with white asparagus and mushrooms felt the fish was well grilled but the sauce was a little too bland for this combination. Overall, it was a good meal and will return to try other dishes in the menu.

Nice ambience, good service, but mediocre food for the price we paid. The steak was sliced too thinly, the fries and mashed potato weren't fresh.

always enjoy the environment and atmosphere here with a broad and classic French style menu, lots of crunchy French bread and wine by the glass, carafe or bottle.

Food is ok. French brasserie style with medium size portion but no vow factor whatsoever. For the price you get way better alternative...would personally give it a miss.

Very good food. I had the set lunch, which comes with an entree, a main, a dessert and coffee/tea. The cauliflower and potato veloute was full of flavour. The cod with egg and sourdough had a mellow taste without being too sweet or rich (no 'fishy' taste). The creme brulee was also wonderfully done. All in all, I am very impressed by the high quality of French cuisine at an affordable price, and will surely come dine here again in the future!

The Pan-seared foie gras, griottes cherries in Argmanac is absolutely delicious The duck leg confit is very well cooked, still moist and yet crisp on the outside. The cheese of the day is simply titillating on the palate and nose. Will visit soon.

Set lunch was very much worth the value. The portion sizes were not sacrificed as some places do. Highly recommend the French onion soup and duck confit. Service, ambient, reception were all fantastic
