Was a rushed mother.s day meal. Dishes served very quickly. 5 of us left within an hour- about 50mins. In our previousl visit we were given latte or cappuccino coffee choices for the brunch set. Yesterday this was not allowed.

I really enjoy the service.. staff was very polite and attentive although it was a busy day. I found the set menu really worth i. The food was tasty and presentation really well done, although i wouldn't say it was outstanding.

Hmm, it was Just really odd that a family would bring four toddlers to dinner at a place like Aura at 7pm on a Friday evening. They either miss-read the restaurant as Swenson's or it was an act of extraordinary self-entitlement and arrogance. We felt for the wait-staff who were clearly embarrassed and for the young couple on an early date who had to endure the shrieks and cries. We would love to know what on earth the toddlers found on the menu to satisfy them? Or perhaps they bought their own? The food was lovely though the beef carpaccio needed more seasoning for my taste. Sadly, we ate quickly and left for the lounge upstairs given the circus troupe and appreciated the attention of the front-of-house team to find us a table.

Had a wonderful time at the restaurant. Alvin attended to us and gave us a wonderful recommendation to share starters and 2 pastas (especially the uni pasta) for our group of 6 people. Each of us then chose our own main. Alvin bantered with us through the night and he made our night even more enjoyable. Food was fabulous and service was en pointe. I didn't give it 5 stars as the staff in the upstairs bar dampened our mood. The bar was empty when we arrived at 6pm. We sat down on a sofa with a wonderful view of the Padang. One of the staff finally attended to us after about 10 minutes of waiting and told us the table we were sitting at might be occupied and he would check. When I received a restaurant reservation reconfirmation call earlier in the day, I asked if I need to book a table at the bar, I was told it wasn't necessary and that I could just walk in. Despite being relatively empty, the drinks took another 10 minutes to arrive, with still no word if we could stay at our seats. Finally, when our drinks arrived and I asked if we could stay at the table, I was told that they had to make some re-arrangments, but we could stay. The attitude of the staff was rather off-putting and snotty. I would advise people to go to the bar next door if you want to have drinks before or after your dinner.

The atmosphere and service was good overall. Food too was good, but I wouldn't say it was outstanding. The print and pricing on the menu was too tiny to read in the lighting of the restaurant. Needs to be in slightly bigger font! Will I go there again? For the atmosphere and location, maybe, but not for the food.

Great food and good service , more choices of wine by the glass preferred . Also can serve better coffee instead of lavazza . The museum cafe had a better coffee option as beans were from papa palheta

Aura has an excellent ambience. The interior design is elegant especially the marble divider between seats. Service is good. Unfortunately, my duck confit came without the crispy skin and the accompanied wine pear was hard. Other than that, it is a nice place for business lunch and friends gathering especially at this grand refreshed old parliment house of Singapore.

The wines were good and the ambience was fantastic. Love the restaurant deco. service was a little slow, have to wait for almost 15 mins for the wine order. find food a little too salty. Food was a little not up to me and guests' satisfactory. servers were friendly and ambience make up for it. I would give a 3.5-4 out of 6 for food. But rest will score a full 6.

Lunch set is a terrific value for money meal with 4 courses. The succulent scallop starter was fresh and tasty with salmon roe and urchin sauce . Followed by pasta called trofie in delicious truffle porcini sauce. Choice of black cod or sirloin for main course . The grilled beef was tender and juicy. Finished with refreshing dessert of mango sorbet , chocolate millefeuille with raspberry . Beautifully presented and service staff was very attentive and prompt with each course .

This is my second time visit. Last time I ate dinner and this time we enjoyed lunch. Foods are nice and we enjoyed appertizer, main and desert on the 4th floor. They kindly accept our request to have tea at the 5th floor. However, tea have not been served untill we go down to 4th floor and ask to staff. We ordered Ice tem but straw was brokened one and tea was taste like made by used tea leave... Very disappointed.

Service was deplorable. Waiter was rude to say the least. Starters were served very shortly after bread was offered. Mains followed before we had finished our starters, so they were just placed next to our starters.

Food was great, especially the Grilled Octopus we got as a starter. We also had the Parma Ham. This was nice too but felt the Octopus was better. Had a steak that was not on the main menu. Nicely done and rate it highly though have to say that it is not the best around. We were also recommended a sea urchin pasta which sounded interesting but decided to keep it for another time. Good selection of wines. For dessert, we had the Pannacotta and the Cheese Cake. Both were a nice, light way to end off the meal. Great ambience and atmosphere. Service staff are very friendly and they give excellent service. Special mention to Push - thank you for your recommendations. Would also recommend a visit to the Sky Lounge for drinks before dinner. Good panoramic view of the city from City Hall through Marina Bay to Raffles Place and overlooking the Padang. Go early for happy hour prices. Would definitely visit again.

The view was beautiful the service was attentive, but still managed to slipped on all the things I requested, eg. inform my guest for the table changed, and use my credit card. The food was a bit under-seasoned. The price is a bit high. The Japanese group behind our (supposed to be romantic table) are very very loud.

Carefully thought out menu with just enough options. Pasta amazing. Great ambience. Extensive Italian wine list. We did have a problem when we were brought the incorrect year for the Italian red wine that we ordered. Perhaps they thought we wouldn't notice but my brother is a bit of an Italian wine buff and picked it up immediately. They actually didn't have the year that we had ordered at all so not sure why they didn't just tell us that. Overall a good experience but watch the wine availability.

Nice location at the new museum. However, I expected the place to be a bit more sophisticated. I think the service could have been a bit more attentive, the quality of the food was good but not great/too special and having other guests with shorts, t-shirts and baseball cap next to us did not fit the ambience/portrayed image of the place. Nonetheless a good addition to Singapore's gastronomic scene in a very nice location. There is opportunity to improve and become a great place.

Overall experience at the restaurant is okay. The 5 of us enjoyed our time at Auro, the waiter is humorous and friendly and knowlegeable about their menu and wine list. He chilled our champagne and helped reserved a table at the Sky Lounge for dessert and drink after dinner. There were a few setbacks that could be improved. 1. The waiters/waitresses all appear very busy rushing around and it is hard to catch their attention. 2. The tiny little saucer containing few drops of balsamic vinegar and olive oil is real pathetic and call for replenishment was not met, perhaps forgotten. They have good bread though.

The fish we had was overcooked and dry and the pasta not al dente. Service staff was not attentive. At 2.30 p.m. the waiter simply left the bill on our table and walked away, no eye contact, nothing said. When my guest asked, what time are you closing, he muttered, "in fact we are closing now mam." Such atrocious service. It's unbelievable.

Very good service, we were ushered to our table quickly and efficiently, given the menu and order for 2 set lunches taken promptly by smiling and gracious staff. Restaurant has a lovely decor though acoustics weren't the best, very noisy as sounds were echoed. Food though reasonably priced was ordinary, a tad heavy and creamy as both the artichoke cream soup and prawn pasta were heavy on the cream. Dessert of chocolate cake slices with nuts and berries was well-presented but some of the nuts didn't taste that fresh. Coffee too thick for our taste but the slices of toast that came before the soup were crunchy and delicious. Perhaps the ala carte selections were better, but I believe the set lunch usually is a good indicator of general food quality. As a frequent traveller to Italy, perhaps spoilt by the exacting standards there but all the hype led us to expect more.

Appetisers: the scallop crudo was nothing spectacular, needed more acid to mask the raw taste. The truffle salad was surprisingly good though, with an aromatic and strong truffle taste . The caviar and crayfish pasta, as well as the oxtail pasta dishes were good. The chestnut panna cotta with Mandarin coulis was a nice way to finish off the meal with something light, especially after the heavy pasta. Service was attentive and prompt. The restaurant was rather noisy and packed at lunch time though.
