Aura

Aura was lovely! The food was great, brunch set was a real value for money. We also loved the aka carte octopus starter 😍. Our server Shafiq was also very helpful and friendly, helping us to change our order once we realized we had ordered a pasta that was already included in the brunch set. 😊 additionally, as we were celebrating a birthday they put a little happy birthday sign and candle on birthday boy's dessert! overall a great experience!

Appetisers: the scallop crudo was nothing spectacular, needed more acid to mask the raw taste. The truffle salad was surprisingly good though, with an aromatic and strong truffle taste . The caviar and crayfish pasta, as well as the oxtail pasta dishes were good. The chestnut panna cotta with Mandarin coulis was a nice way to finish off the meal with something light, especially after the heavy pasta. Service was attentive and prompt. The restaurant was rather noisy and packed at lunch time though.

Overall experience at the restaurant is okay. The 5 of us enjoyed our time at Auro, the waiter is humorous and friendly and knowlegeable about their menu and wine list. He chilled our champagne and helped reserved a table at the Sky Lounge for dessert and drink after dinner. There were a few setbacks that could be improved. 1. The waiters/waitresses all appear very busy rushing around and it is hard to catch their attention. 2. The tiny little saucer containing few drops of balsamic vinegar and olive oil is real pathetic and call for replenishment was not met, perhaps forgotten. They have good bread though.

Carefully thought out menu with just enough options. Pasta amazing. Great ambience. Extensive Italian wine list. We did have a problem when we were brought the incorrect year for the Italian red wine that we ordered. Perhaps they thought we wouldn't notice but my brother is a bit of an Italian wine buff and picked it up immediately. They actually didn't have the year that we had ordered at all so not sure why they didn't just tell us that. Overall a good experience but watch the wine availability.

Good service and great food that is well plated. Air-conditioning could be a notch lower.

Nice location at the new museum. However, I expected the place to be a bit more sophisticated. I think the service could have been a bit more attentive, the quality of the food was good but not great/too special and having other guests with shorts, t-shirts and baseball cap next to us did not fit the ambience/portrayed image of the place. Nonetheless a good addition to Singapore's gastronomic scene in a very nice location. There is opportunity to improve and become a great place.

Nice view, nice food. Generally have good service staff, last night was exceptional and surprising. Got bad feedback from friends that attended on service staff.

Nice and efficient service, nice decor, good food, not too air conditionned, temperature just perfect which was great, a little too noisy..but we had a nice time!

We had an enjoyable birthday lunch over at Aura. Attentive staff noticed me giving my lunch partner her birthday present, he presented our dessert with a candle to celebrate. We like our crabmeat salad and Beef Sirloin. Overall great ambience, great food, good price.

Service was great. Reservation via Quandoo made it foolproof; last time a reservatiom made over the phone got messed up. The pork chops milanese were excellent.

The food was awesome and the ambience was great. The waiters were friendly but I felt service was a little slow considering that the restaurant was not full.

Good brunch menu, reasonable wine prices, served in a nice bright cheerful room topped off with efficient service staff who knew exactly what to do.

Nice food and location. Price was affordable. However I hope we can have dinner at the 6th floor not the 5th. Overal we enjoy the dinner

We arrived Aura on a Sunday for lunch. Beautiful ambience and well cooked Italian dishes left my foreign guests an impressive memory during their stay in Singapore

Decent quality, but hardly outstanding. All diners had 3 courses for dinner - all different dishes but none of us were particularly impressed with any of them. The dishes were mostly OK with 2 negatives. Much as I like truffles, the salad was over-done with truffle oil. 1 special of the day was lobster (served with pasta) - described by the diner as mediocre. Our party of 3 paid over S$400 for the meal (which included 5 orders of regular alcohol eg. beer etc). I think we could have done better elsewhere at the same price. I guess there's a premium for dining at the location

Gorgeous view, friendly service, though drinks a touch slow to arrive at the beginning. Drinks reasonably priced considering, and I will return on a weekday happy hour! Strangely quiet for (admittedly early) on a Saturday, which kept the atmosphere just a bit too quiet.

very attentive staff, stylish decoration, a bit pricey. Food tasteful however portions are comparatively tiny than normal, it looks even smaller in the artistic big dishes, although it's expected .

food quality and presentation were good. Very generous on the meat portion, personally it will be great with more veggie. service is reasonable good as expected. cleaniness is good as expected.

Great ambience, but restaurant was rather hot and with the full house, it was even warmer. Food was okay, nothing special. Service was slow. Appetiser came quite quickly but after the plates were cleared, it was another 20 mins before we received our main course.

Restaurant ambience was good, food was really tasty and servers are attentive. Only down side is that the restaurant gets a bit noisy when it is packed. :)

Very attentive staff. My guests that I was entertaining like it very much. We were even allowed to go up to their sky lounge to continue drinking our wine

This was me and my wife first time at Aura restaurant and I will say the service and the food was the best. Just a bit sad that the restaurant very noise but if you think on the brighter side which is good. Reason because it's full house. We'll sure visit this restaurant again for our next Anniversary again.

Service was good & attentive. One of us had only an hour for lunch. They noted this & made it a point to serve her dishes quickly to ensure that she's not late.

Fabulous food. Tuna tartare perfect, delicious pasta. Delectable tiramisu the right proportion of cake to cream with a gold leaf peanut on top!!!...excellent service from very attentive staff ...amazing view from bar on roof. Recommend..

Atmosphere was nice but the restaurant should ensure the fish in the main course is completely deboned, especially since Aura is a fine dining restaurant.

Good lunch. Would have scored full marks if not for the slightly slow serving of food, which is quite important for lunch in the weekdays.

Excellent service! Great food and wine recommendations by Dave. Food was great!! We will be back!! Atmosphere and decor were tastefully done and there is an amazing view of the city to grab a drink either before of after dinner.

Food was average. I've been taking my friends to Aura for their birthdays but my friend n I were disappointed with the food set lunch today

The food was just ok and the service was abrupt. Starter, mains and two glasses of wine came to S$180, not cheap for a so-so experience.

Good location, easy parking. Great ambience in restaurant, good service and excellent food. A tad too noisy, especially from large group of diners and moderately over-priced.....

It was a nice place, albeit small. The food from set lunch menu was good, but not somewhat spectacular that we will come back again for.

Awesome service! Probably the best in Singapore. My girlfriend had her bday and from the greeting over timing of courses to serving a surprise dessert it can be considered a perfect service. Made a new reservation right away...

My guests have a great time at Aura. Food and service were good. They shared that they will return with their family. Only small thing is they have forgotten it was my friend's Bdae hence no surprise candle on the desert. This is my return trip !

Absolutely beautiful view with fantastic food. The truffle pesto pasta was sublime and will definitely be back for it again soon. Service was top notch. One of my best dining experiences.

It's been a while since I had pasta this good. The Artisanal ones were packed quite a flavour without being overwhelming, while the Traditional ones felt very rustic and what my friend said "brought him back to his trip to Italy". Ambience was overall lovely, and the host/waiters were al very helpful in explaining some of the more unknown Italian cuisine jargons. Would love to go back soon.

Ambience, the restaurant no privacy and too noisy. Bar is better. Food is nice and quality is good. View is good Location is superb. Service is attentive.

Wonderful set lunch! The pasta was so greasy and the service was attentive and polite. I would definitely recommend this to any one who is looking for a great lunch out.

Went for the Sunday Brunch menu. Service was good, servers were attentive and infomative. Food was tasty and portions for the starters were generous. Tried all the mains as we went as a group of 5. The smoked duck main came with a well sized foie gras making it really value for money. Was rather disappointed with the beef main. With a top up of $22, I was only served 3 silvers of meat. That said, the dish was well prepared and the beef had good marbling.

Food and Service were good, but price of recommended dish should have been made known since it was almost 1.5 times that of set menu. Uni pasta was served cold and main course took some time.
