Food, service & setting were all excellent, not too mention good value for money & not pretentious. It's not often you get a menu where it's hard to decide because of all the good choices. Portions were just the right size, allowing for the full 3 courses without feeling over full. We've been before and will go again, it never fails to disappoint.

Food was overall very good. I only wished the price of the wine was more reasonable. The restaurant virtually didn't have red wine under $100.

Food was ok. For starters, the duck rillette was decent but the escargot was just average. For mains, the snapper was alright but could do with a bit more tangy flavour accompaniment. Beef was average too. Desserts-wise, the basil ice cream that came with the chocolate gateau was pleasantly interesting. Service was ok except I wasn't too pleased when the waiter asked us to carry our baby out of the restaurant as he was starting to get cranky. It was lunchtime and there were other groups of people at their tables talking and laughing. It didn't seem that the baby was drowning out their conversations. I would have appreciated if the waiter could show more empathy and offer any assistance so that we can better manage the baby. If he becomes out of control, we would have carried him out without such unwelcomed instruction from the waiter.

Very typical food in this French Corner of Singapore; very good menu options, an interesting sample of french food; Nevertheless they should propose wider choice of wine below 100Sgd Highly recommended

The set lunch had a lot of additional add on costs that finally made each set come up to $50 plus plus and honestly did not make it worth the value for the quality of food.

Great food and attentive service by the staff. I have been there many times over the years and it never fail to impress. Price is reasonable considering the quality of food and service.

The food was average, so not worth the price. Given the great reviews, we expected a lot more. The starters were great, the snails were well cooked, as were the scallop. But honestly not enough. The powder that went with the scallop didn't add anything to the dish, and the creamy butternut squash purée was stingy. The mains we ordered tenderloins and hache steak. Paying $15 more than hache, I'm afraid the hache tasted so much better. Even though it was a cheaper cut, it was tender all throughout whereas the tenderloin was tough outside and soft inside, like a badly seated steak. The accompaniments were not much to boast of. Honestly very very underwhelming. The dessert was a lot worse. We had the chocolate tart and pineapple carpaccio. The chocolate tart felt like cheap chocolate, and there were so many things on the fish they didn't form one, with the mango (mousse?), macerated strawberries and basil vanilla ice cream. I'm not sure how they all compliment each other, they certainly don't one another. The pineapple carpaccio was abysmal, it was terrible. The pineapple didn't taste of pineapple, it was so bland, like it had been steeped in water. The lychee sorbet was not smooth with chunky bits all throughout. This overall meal was very underwhelming considering the ratings people have given. The quality was good but the use of ingredients wasted. The ambience was great though.

A wonderful room and great value set lunch with exceptional quality for the price. Service was inconsistent and almost bumbling at times but not enough to say it was bad just not as good as it could/should be. The only other additional comment would be about the bread, a true French restaurant would only ever serve home made bread and while I know it is not easy in a tropical climate the parbake rolls they served just do not do the restaurant justice. If they don't want to make bread then there are some amazing young artisanal bakers opening up in Singapore who I am sure would love to get their product into a restaurant such as this.

Picturesque and very comfortable. Food was great but a little expensive for what it was. Service was fairly good. Wine needs chilling better as it came to the table too warm. Overall though a good experience.

Fabulous food, creme brûlée is to die for. Attentive and efficient service, polite and not snooty and aloof like you often get at these fine dining places. Probably my favourite French restaurant in Singapore.
