Ambience is good food is great.. Recomnmended for dates and family gathering.. Tried the ribeye and truffle. Ricebowl and was impressed by it.. Will go back there again

Service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I found the weekend dinner set very affordable (from $26.90++) for the type of food served, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend Platypus Kitchen to others!

Very good place for lunch and dinner. the setting is good and the food is good as well. There are different type of set lunches for selection. However, I ordered from ala-carte menu because we were sharing the food.

Always loved their food there, reasonably priced with good service. If you haven't been there, do try there specialty bowls. Truffle and Beef is always a winner.

Hi. Went down with my colleagues to have executive set lunch today. Duck confit too salty, pork chop too sweet. By salad was refreshing though.

Be prepared you hair & clothes smell like oil fumes. Its a open kitchen thus you will smell like food after walking out. Food is yummy! Ordered the set dinner.

the staffs were unattentive. we had to call out to them several times before we can manage to get their attention. the food were overall good. however truffle fries do not really have the truffle taste.

Ordered spicy diablo prawns and crabmeat pasta - was very good. tasty with interesting hint of lemon taste. Only abit creamy and slightly spicy - good for me as I don't like creamy sauces and can't take much spiciness. Generous crab meat. Partner ordered the beef ragu, also tasty but more common. Shared a sweet potato poutine - nice and crispy, liked the bacon bits but not the sour cream. Reasonable pricing for food. Like the "1st drink @ $6" promo also. Cocktail selection seems to be all sweet cocktails, would like to see a wider variety. Prompt and friendly service.

Friendly service staff makes casual dining enjoyable. Nice ambience and good food. Unfortunately, booth seats are not very comfortable and does not allow patrons to eat comfortably.

Nice place for group chatting, friends feedback that the spaghetti was not good. Appreciate that the crew helped deliver birthday song. Service can still be improved.

it is a nice cosy place with one of the better pastas in Singapore. the pasta is handmade, and the prices are reasonable! would recommend to my friends

The service was prompt and good. I had the lobster roll which was rather mediocre. Portion size was good though, and it came with yummy fries.

Still one of my favourite places to bring friends for a meal - used to go once a month. Food-wise, aglio aglio has too much garlic and duck confit needs to be more tender and less salty

Good and fast service. Love the flourless choc lava cake most. Its soft and not very sweet in comparison to others tt i have tries. Highly recommended.

I would rate the truffle fries as 3/5 only. Overall the service staff are helpful except one or two but nothing to fuss over abt. Food is avg only and will I come back again? Maybe but not in the near future.

Their Lunch set is definitely a good deal. You get to chose a main and a drink for only $10.90+. They also have an executive lunch set at $15.90+ with more mains option. Service-wise prompt and courteous.

The wide variety of food in the menu was a surprise to us. Every food ordered by 5 of us was deliciously good especially the duck confit and chicken wings. The staff were patient with us as we had made numerous requests for iced/warm water. I will definitely recommend Platypus Kitchen to my families & friends!

Food was good and reasonably priced. Went with the 4 course meal and our food arrived very promptly. Can't say the same for the couple seated next to us though as theirs arrived only after we were done with our desserts.

Food was not bad, but my parents had to wait for an hour for theirs to arrive. We had to rush our dinner because of this delay, did not get to savour our dinner
