Lawry's The Prime Rib

First visit here, and left with mixed feelings. Definitely come here for the beef only, the servings are good and the meat done right. Enjoyed the yorkshire pudding tremendously as well. Really cannot say the same about the pork ribs that we had, might do better elsewhere, and at least half the price. I suppose it was all part of the service and flourish we got. You also get quite an intimate and private setting to dine in quietly for most part.

Fantastic overall - was in Orchard Room - lovely ambience, great service, excellent food. Reasonable prices for what it is. A low key meat restaurant that is a hidden gem. Butter lobster tail was also excellent.

Went there last week to celebrate bday. I wrote in the reservation remark that it's a surprise. When I was there, I wasn't expecting that there will be a special assigned table with a view of Orchard Road. The staff also came up with a nice cake after we are done with our meals! Definitely will revisit again!

Love the yorkshire pudding! One Yorkshire pudding is big enough for two to share. I opted for grilled steak instead of Lawry's steak which come with set meal. However, the bread was a little hard. The sauteed mushroom was delicious too. Lovely and romantic Christmas ambience.

Second time visit. I remembered why I stopped visiting after the first. The beef is not cooked to my liking, too bloody and not tender enough. Service is ok. Just the quality of food is not living up to expectations.
