Flame Cafe

A nice restaurant which cater to ala carta western menu & steamboat buffet available. I guessed we were the only customer having the western food at the time of our visit. The food was nicely prepared to our surprise as we thought their "core biz" will be the buffet! Entrance to the building can be tricky if you are not familiar with that area hence check your direction well before you start to drive.

Don't go before noon as they aren't ready to serve, especially if you want steamboat! I had spaghetti with mussels - firm pasta in very creamy sauce, but the shells had only tiny bits of flesh inside :( Overall a decent meal. I should be back again to try the steamboat set lunch - a simpler affair compared to their signature pagoda!

Flame provides a good spread and at such a reasonable price.Love the fresh seafood. The laidback ambience makes it a great venue for casual gathering. Will definately be back!

waiting time was quite long but the food was fantastic, over all experience was very good, but hoping more staff will be at the western side instead of the buffet side

Not much for dessert. Really worth if you’re a big eater and big fan of seafood like tiger prawns, cray fish, salmon, shells stuff etc....

Food was good, but service seemed slow since I had to call the waiter.

We had the weekday set lunch $20 for 2 pax. I was expecting the food to be below average given the low price. Surprisingly it was above my expectations.

Overall is not bad but when we went there yesterday, the variety doesn't seem to have alot.. Esp the dim sum like siew mai and all.. Not sure if we are supposed to order it instead? But nxt time maybe I will try the premium or supreme steamboat instead.

fresh prawns and meat. avoid the squid but the rest.. decent varieties and taste is great. premium set is worth it! will go again soon.

It was value for money as the set meal for 2 was at a very affordable $20. Despite the price , the food was decently good ! The soup was delish too!

Food was average only. Service was not attentive enough. Hope that there are more ventilation at cafe as we came out smelling really bad.

Ingredients is always there so we don't have to wait for it to be replenish. Employees there are friendly. Just wish there is variety of ingredient more

The quality of the seafood is a little disappointing in terms of freshness and size. The last visit in Jan this year was much better. The service can also be more prompt as there was literally no one around when we needed to place an order or request for more soup.

The choices / variety of food could be more. The food label should be clearer and some label were obviously missing. For someone like me who doesn't take beef, it was difficult for me to tell whether the meat and meatball was beef or not because the label was not clear. Otherwise, the restaurant ambience is not too bad, noise level was minimal but gets crowded after 7.30pm

Staff is friendly and helpful, ambience is great for gathering. Food choices are quite wide. Love the mini self pizza making area. Definitely will go back again!!!

The food and everything are fantastic, environment is clean however the table is too small for 4 person. Selection for pizza's sauce is a bit limited.

Delicious food with the western food at a seperate area from the steamboat to prevent fumes from making the clothes smell. Overall a pleasing eating environment.

Food is decent, place is quiet and easy parking. However, the hot drinks are served before the main course. And the service is really slow, as it seems like their staff are at the steamboat area most of the time.

Food for steamboat was not fresh. Very limited variety too. Also the cheese dip tastes like thick sweat. Thought the quality might be better given it was only running with half the restaurant capacity full... guess not

The restaurant is clean and well kept, the environmental and atmosphere is also good. The veg and the meat are fresh, however the seafood are not as fresh.

Rather disappointed with the whole ambience. Far from what was seen in photos. Staff acted oblivious to us.

Great array of food choices, great and friendly service. Although it was near to closing time, te chef still top-up the empty tray of food. Only one thing that other wise will be a perfect score, it can get stuffy and cramped at times.

Soup is good, food also good. Just environment layout not too idea. Table is rather small if having pagoda steamboat. Shouldn't play religious music/chant. Thank you.
