Everything was perfect unless the lobster a bit too salty for me, the souffle was superb but the foei gras was the winner of the night.. good service, nice chef.

Good food, good service. We went with the standard menu items. Duck leg confit was very good as was the goat cheese salad starter. My party also tried the monkfish and risotto.

A casual French bistro. Nothing exceptional good or bad. A little pricey for the small portions but location is superb. Menu could be a little clearer

Generous portions but food generally too salty. Duck confit skin not crispy and meat too dry and salty. Beef cheeks average at best. Charbroiled Angus steak too chewy; the steak and fries had a large amount of salt visibly sprinkled all over them - not edible without removing the salt. Evian water, Coffee & Tea ok. Creme Brûlée and Chocolate Mousse were good.

Fine food, good service, reasonable prices. What more can you ask for? The lunch set is great valyelue for money. Highly recommended restaurant for business lunches or dates.

Superb food, fantastic wine list, very good service: pretty much how I remember the place from my 9 previous visits. The ambience seems to have changed a bit though; a bit brighter than I remember it.

The service has improved but there is still room for improvement. The quality of the food remains consistent after re-opening. However I realised there has been a slight change to the price and the mains in the set lunch (i.e. duck confit requires additional $5 on top of the set lunch price)

Food was below standard. Foie gras was still a tad bloody and steak was overcooked even though we requested for medium and medium rare. Service was average.

Escargot was disappointing as tasteless and herb was over powering. Mains (steak and seabass) were fantastic and souffle was yummy and out of this world

Brought my wife there for her birthday. I chosen that restaurant because reputed to serve good French food at reasonable prices. I'd have to say they didn't disappoint. My wife and I had 3 course set lunch menu with additions, of course and it was good. The most surprising thing of all, it was not expensive being a French restaurant. It was supposed to be a pleasant lunch with my girl friends, but the waiter in charge of our table spoilt the day with his rudeness. The quality of the food still can be forgiven but the staff's rudeness was unacceptable. We did not finish each of our 3 course meal. I won't recommend my family and friend to dine at Vin du Bistro.

The main course was delicious. The dessert was especially yummy - not too sweet and done to perfection. The service was excellent. We were also given a lovely table by the window.

This is the ideal place to try out traditional French food at an affordable price, in a laid back setting. The service staff were very attentive and friendly. This is definitely my go-to place if I crave for French food again.

We had the set lunch. French onion soup was very good, so was the beef cheeks. The portions are indeed more generous compared with other restaurants. Service was good. Only 1 criticism, the tables are tiny.

Nice atmosphere in this French cosy bistrot. We took steak and fries that tasted good, a bit salty for us but good quality. Le soufflé Grand Marnier was excellent. We took 2 glasses of wine that we found a bit too warm.

Overall the food is good, beef cheek and duck confit are really nice. just that the duck is a little salty, but overall is good. Service is excellent even we went on a Friday evening which is quite pack.

Won't be visiting the restaurant anymore despite being a frequent diner there for the past few years. Poor and rude service encountered on at least two occasions by the same manager.

Service staff was attentive. We had the duck comfit and beef cheek and both were too salty. The beef cheek was very tender though. For dessert we had creme brulee and dark chocolate mousse. Both were good.

The food was excellent and service a delight and all at very good value. The new decor makes the Bistro more contemporary and spacious and now with a more regularly changing menu.

The staff were as usual very attentive and helpful. Food is fantatic. One improvement needed: I feel there is a need to inform diners on what cheese is offered for "Cheese of the Day", as some cheese may be too over powering for some diners.

The food was great. Especially the char-grilled ribeye steak that was done to my satisfaction. It was juicy, tender and delicious. However, the dressing for the salad was not being consulted. Service was good. Will be back in 3 months' time.

Service is good. Lunch set menu has changed, not too much to my liking, but overall good quality is good. Wish to have the signature apple tart for dessert, don't mind topping up abit as St not on set menu, but has to order ala carte.
