Great place for a hang out ! ! :) like it
It is the first time to this restaurant, the service is good, in overall it is valued for money. And We will visit next time.
The food is delicious and the service is excellence. For weekend, the parking is "reasonable" at $1.07 per entry and the environment is good and less crowded at weekend.
Always love to dine in this restaurant either personal or company, the service staff all are friendly and nice. Good food and price reasonable too.
The 4 of us were brought quickly to our reserved table. Service throughout was good and quick. Except for a slightly longer wait for one of our ordered dishes, the meal was relaxing and good. Though the serving staff were attentive they were not intrusive, like in some other places where the staff would interrupt our conversation with questions, comments or even, gestures.. We ordered the ala carte buffet which offered a good range of popular food. I was delighted with the mini abalone, sautéed to a just-nice flavor. We had to order the fried brinjal with pork floss for 2 reasons: 1) it was not as crispy as we expected & 2)it tasted so good that one portion was not enough! The free flow of drinks and desserts completed our meal and my one regret was that I didn't know of this promotion at Yunnan Garden earlier. I'm also glad to have booked a table for an earlier slot because the restaurant filled up quickly by noon.
Very well priced Chinese food for CNY. They have option of ala carte & set menu even during CNY, unlike many other restaurants that only offer set menus. Waiter who served us was helpful and even advised us to order smaller portions so as he felt we over-ordered for the number of pax. Indeed he was spot on. Food was very scrumptious as both young & old family members enjoyed the meal very much. Will definitely be back again.
The food is good and the service is fast. The service staff is very responsive and helpful. Generally we had a good first experience at the restaurant. Only one feedback for improvement - we had loi hei at the restaurant which left the table rather messy - it would be good if they clean up the table before serving the rest of the dishes. Otherwise, good experience.
Food is generally gd. I love the caramelised yam is not too sweet and the yam is fluffy. The o ni (yam puree dessert) is good and it comes with black glutinous rice . This makes it so unique and is nice because of the texture it produced. Restaurant has nice ambience. But closed at bit early at 9pm
This is the second time I been to this restaurant will never go back again. Went on a Wednesday night @ 8 pm and whole restaurant empty only another customer and myself, but the male staff more interested in playing on his iPad than serving me. I have to get his attention twice to order my food. Not sure if I was unlucky to had ordered the least value for money item in the menu, coz I paid $28.8 before tax for a sea cucumber claypot and it only contains one small sea cucumber chopped into 4 small pieces with 3 tofu and 2 pathetic slices of mushrooms, and some cabbage in it of course, if you feel it's worth mentioning. Now I start to understand why so many restaurant close down in Singapore - failing in both soft and hard ware aspects.
I pre-ordered the food a few hours before our dinner time. The food was served very promptly after we arrived. The staff were attentive. The restaurant is always fully booked on Saturday evening. I tried booking a couple of times without success. Suggest you go there after 8pm if your desired timing is not available.
