First time visit. Food and service is consider okay. Quiet atmosphere

arrived on time for our reservation and the restaurant was fairly empty. stood by the door for quite a while waiting for the staff to attend to us and show us to our table, they saw us but told us to wait as they were doing other things like carrying stuff to the fridge. Service here isn't the best as compared to the other two more popular hotpot chains, so don't expect that level of attentiveness or politeness. Was quite disappointed by the food, the quality of meats were pretty meh and the portions were quite small. Ordered half a portion of the spicy beef slices, it came in a small appetizer dish of 4-5 slices sitting on top a thick bed of cabbage to make it look more in volume than it actually was. Full portion of beef was also pretty small. Quality of soup also pretty questionable, the pork soup was very thin and loaded with msg, not the kind of thick brewed soups you get elsewhere. in total we paid 120$+ for 2 pax. Not cheaper than the other top hotpot brands while having lower quality food, won't be back unfortunately.

Great food and soup base, but the smell of hotpot is too strong. Might be due to poor ventilation in it.

Service was good! Food was great as well. Personally find this better than HDL. Would visit again, prefer this outlet than the Bugis one because it’s more quiet & peaceful
