I really had a terrible experience last night. Our reservation is at 4:30 we all came from work. We arrive at 5:15pm. They manager told me he gave their reservation to the walk in customers. As courtesy, they should have calle me and confirmed my reservation but they never called me. The guy said i will have table but i need to leave at 6:40pm. The reservation is supposed to be my birthday celebration. I booked like 2 weeks earlier to confirm my booking. When we eventually sat down after the long arguments, we ordered our food and the waiter, Joshua told us that we need cancel some of the food we ordered cos they need to chase us out at 6:30pm. First time in my life to experience dining at a restobar that we are not welcome at all!i told Joshua all over again that we had a reservation but we were late and the bistro never called me to ask if i wanna cancel. He then told me that i should have called them and not them calling me. I told him i book the reservation online and no number is stated there. He said, “You should have googled it” and ask me, have you worked in F&B before? Omg! Joshua wants to pick a fight on his customers. I told him “no i havent”. Then he said, you dont understand cos you are not a singaporean. Then i told him, what is the connection? How you know that im not a singaporean? He then TOLD ME, WHERE’s YOUR IC? SHOW ME YOUR IC?? Is that how you treat your customers? Harrassing us and violating the PDPA? Joshua, you ruin my special day!
