V tasty but v crowded. Aircon should be stronger. If the review is just for food, it is 10/10!
Found extra creepy crawlers in the pepper. Staff changed our dish
Went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded. Was served quite quickly after placing order. The fish soup and dishes ordered were good. Will be back again!
Good hearty fish broth especially on a cold rainy day
Could be better. Not a comfortable place to have a nice meal.
Place was almost full even though we booked and arrived at 6pm. Service was fast and food came quickly. They top up soup into hot pot without prompting. Food was tasty and price are clearly stated on menu. Will go again.
The soup of the steamboat is very flavourful. The service is good as they will replenish the soup frequently.
The foods are so so, still prefer the one at Killiney road but unfortunately already closed
Soup taste weird compared to the 1st time I had months ago. Won’t recommend.
Prompt serving of food and reasonable pricing. Place is air-conditioned.
Tasty steamboat. We ordered the set menu and we were satisfied with other dishes such as marmite pork, cereal prawn, spinach with scallops, fried squid, and fried boneless chicken.
Delicious food but price a bit high, overall worth it.
Good service, still have to wait a while for your table though
Heavenly soup, no other fish soup I tried tastes as good. However, quite pricey esp when you order their zhi char dishes to go along.
Serve fast, and steamboat not too salty. Recommended for tourist
he overall experience was good. The fish soup we ordered was very good. So is the prawn paste chicken, sprouts and egg omelette.
Restaurant should have kept the table for at least 15 mins from the booking time!
Veery quickly seated and food served promptly. No frills good dinner for the family
Fish soup was excellent... A bit pricey though. Had a satisfactory meal
Dining space is too small for comfort & aircon not cool enough for hot steamboat meal
Was below expectations as the soup base was diluted and fish red grouper was little
great food. great service. the place is abit noisy as the walls are reflecting the noises.
Not bad food, can have better service for price paid
Nice fish head steamboat which has Tze char dishes too. Appreciate that it come with an air conditioned space so it’s cooling while you are enjoying the steamboat
Price a bit at a higher side. Nice food taste profile.
Good food, price on the slightly high side though. Worth a try.
Good steamboat. Could improve on the portion of fish given in the pot. seems to be much lesser pieces of fishes than before. shop has a new coat of paint.
The tasty charcoal heated soup is so addictive. Nice yam as well.
food is sevice but service so so only. The resturant is quite small and when the tables are fulled, the whole resturant was very noisy.
Only tried the Chinese new year set lunch but food was good and portions were big. Service was good, and fish was fresh as well.
Yummy fishhead steamboat! I really like the hotplate tofu too!
Cozy ambiance, great menu and impeccable service! Definitely worth visiting and coming back for another round of authentic zichar. Especially love the fish steam boat
Before I booked, they told me set and ala carte menu are available but on the actual day there, they told me only set menu is available. Feel cheated.
I recommend Whampoa Keng. The steamboat tasted great! Even with reservations, we had a little bit of wait on a buy Saturday night, but the waitress took our order ahead of time and service was courteous and professional throughout our dinner.
Foods served very fast. Tasty food, esp the fishhead steamboat. Regular top up of steamboat soup. Restaurant too crowded, tables a bit too close to each other.
The fish head steamboat and other dishes are a bit expensive.but service is fast. Sad to say this is my first time here and will not come again.
A very small and cramped restaurant which still requires you to wait even though you had reserved it but nonetheless the fish head & its other dishes were nice, definitely worth a try.
Great food and good service! Looking forward to the next visit! Will come back for the fish head steamboat which was very meaty and fresh
The fish is very fresh and soup very flavourful. The other meat and vegetable dishes also very good. Our all time favourite steam boat place.
There are 9 of us and they gave us a table at the corner near the main door. It's uncomfortable as other customer will brushed past you and the those seated right inside are very squeeze. Food standard has drop. The pork ribs was $72 for 10 small pieces. The charcoal fish steamboat is not as tasty and $75 doesn't have much fish. Salted egg prawn is too wet. Prawn roll is tasteless and cold. Spinach tofu is silky and smooth. Her Cheong chicken wing is the nicer ones. That is their only saving grace.
