Foods are nice. Atmosphere is good for business and private lunch. Selection of wine is not many, but it is acceptable. I would like to see wider selection for dessert. Overall, it is a nice restaurant.

Got a confirmation call an hour before the reservation, smooth service with lots of care for children at a table upstairs, with a romantic river view towards MBSands. 500g rib eye went quickly to stomach also fillet, lamb chops were excellent, can't compare to other restaurants in same price range, even coming with free flow quality bread and butter. Definitely recommendable to any meet eaters, family and romantic people.

The food were already cold when it's served for us. The beef has a lot of sinew. The knife was not sharp enough and it made the taste of beef worse. The volume of the beef which was served doesn't look 1kg. It looked like 500g. It's better to see the whole piece first and serve in front of the us.

Had a great dinner. A little pricy but worth it. Oysters were great. Spring Lamb is good. But their King Salmon (starters) can be missed. Ribeye is beautiful though

We had a Caesar salad, soup of the day, full lamb racks & a glass of champagne. The food was great especially the lamb racks. I would say it's a must try. The soup of the day, broccoli soup was passable. Service was reasonable & room for improvement. Not much of ambience due to the renovations just beside the restaurant though the CBD skyscraper proved to be an impressive backdrop.

We ordered a combination of meats. Each had a different texture and flavour, but all were delicious. The side dishes (spinach, asparagus, fries) were also very good - simple but full of flavour.

Although fairly busy, service and attentiveness only average. Disappointing some standard dishes were unavailable - second time this has occurred. Meat quality as expected was excellent though!

A serious steakhouse in every sense of the word, Wakanui Grill Dining's menu is a lesson in minimalism; a few salads, a soup, the steaks themselves and then a select range of sides to round up the dinner menu so as not to distract patrons from the main showcase: the steaks themselves. Offering a selection of roughly three different cuts (each ticking off a certain marbling score), the restaurant's other minute offerings are surprisingly anything but an afterthought. The Caesar salad is a well-tossed medley of nicely-rendered bacon, croutons and prime lettuce leaves with finely grated cheese strands and tasty dressing that was not overly inundating but coated each leaf evenly. The steaks are a dream balance between dry-aged perfection and yet optimally juicy yet beefy mouthfeel. Grilling the steaks using Binchotan charcoal from Kishu, Japan must really do wonders for beef which is reared in Kiwi pastures facing the Pacific Ocean and dry-aged to flavoursome goodness, because the steaks arrive just nicely sizzled without the smoky ashy kind of "dirtiness" expected of charcoal grilling. Hint: Pick the ribeye for the best marbling score. At 250g and only $38, the 250g ribeye hits all the right notes for a light but spiffy steak dinner. For dessert, the Pavlova or Hokey Pokey Ice Cream will take you to New Zealand's contemporary tables. The service here is most accommodating; while not a conventional item on the menu, on a separate visit, beef trimmings were served to placate my dining companions and I when we noted that the air-conditioning was not sufficiently cooling due to a mechanical breakdown. On our recent visit, we requested the trimmings and this request was immediately acceded to. Just ask for them. They are like really addictive smoky bacon curls snacks but instead made with beef which has come into the highest-degree contact with the grilling flame during the cooking till they acquire a texture between pastrami and crispy breakfast bacon.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff. Upstairs table near windows, relatively quiet. Food was very nice, steak was cooked to our liking. Was disappointed when they said couldn't do a vodka, lime and soda then they had run out of their champagne, but the sauv blanc ended up being quite nice.

Served some really amazing food. We had the ribeye and it was perfectly grilled. However, service can be improved by quite a notch. Attention to detail fell short - waiter did not ask how we'd like our steak to be done, did not ask if we wanted wine / water. As we were in the outdoor seating, we did struggle quite a bit getting the service staff's attention. However, that being said, the head of service was a lovely gentleman.

We were having team bonding lunch in Wakanui and all of us ordered 3 courses lunch which started from salad, followed with main dishes(beef burger & steak) and dessert. Personally i find their grilled sirloin steak was nice however we were not asked about how we would like the steak to be cooked, therefore it was a bit too rare for me since i always have medium-well cooked steak. the salad and dessert was nice but the chocolate mousse cake that i had was a bit too sweet.

The lamp chop gets the top vote for ny wife and I. The cod fish is quite a dissapointment being dry which could be due to overcooking.

The meat was very tasty. The only thing I was disappointed about was the atmosphere of restaurant. It was a bit of old and dark room. I wanted to sit outside and see marina bay suns but it was under construction right now.

Great ambience, great food, fish and beef are very tender. One room of improvement is for the servers not to laugh and joke around at level 2 where people wanna have a peace of mind eating food.

Prime quality food, accommodates customers request. The only downside I see is that they seem to be bit short on floor people. The place was not extremely crowed yet it took time for them to bring us beer/water etc. hope this gets improved, because I love this place :)

Lamb rack is awesome. The best lamb rack I ever had in Singapore. Staff is friendly too. Overall food quality is good. Good for diners who love lamb and beef. I would not recommend fresh oyster here tho.
