With a few branches in the city, the space on Sixth Avenue in Bukit Timah is located just off Bukit Timah Road and has local foodies flocking to it for very good reason. You’ll find steaming bowls of flavoursome soups, an extensive array of seafood dishes like butter prawns, salted egg crab and Teochew steamed fish, and a whole host of meat, rice and noodle dishes to boot. One of the coolest spots in town, Top Seafood Sixth Avenue Singapore will have you and your tastebuds feeling all kinds of satisfied. As we said, locals flock here so reservations ahead of time are recommended to avoid disappointment.
Food was great ! We loved the Chilli crab and deep fried man tou, salted egg yolk prawns, curry fish head (best in a long while), Har cheong kai, king pork ribs, sambal kangkong, signature hor fun. Didn’t like the deep fried baby squids though. Price is very affordable (a fraction of what u pay at big name places like Long Beach or Jumbo). Downsides: There’s no aircon. We sat at a round table in the open with a canvas shade against the rain. Difficult to get car park along the road, ended up parking at Guthrie House across the road.
