Nice place for a quiet lunch on a weekday. Food is average and prices have been increasing which makes it increasingly less attractive to dine there. Place is kind of cramped. Not ideal for big groups or kids.

Most of the waiters were new faces. Don’t know why. But the service was same good. Thank you. The cake looked dry and food was served a bit slow. But it was acceptable.

Small place. Meals seemed very homely. This could be considered cosy, but we struggled for space with 3 people to our table. Place was empty but not many other options for seating?

cosy little cafe tucked in a quiet outram street. waited about 30 minutes for our food on Sunday around 11am so I guess kitchen wasn't fully ready yet? the food was great and portion was big and value for money! will definitely go back again!

after a few times to try a few different cakes, i think i can conclude that most of them are not fresh. we did not even eat the blueberry top layer. maybe its driness made the cheesecake remain its texture. :p

Had the fish and chips, didn't taste great and the skin was really tough to cut through. The bruschetta was decent, drinks were fine. Table outside was nice enough except for the pounding music from an establishment across the street, and inside the layout was rather cramped and dark, particularly with the table arrangements, so having a conversation with someone is a challenge. Overall would go again on my own if i needed to do some work on the laptop (but not if I need to read printed material) and wanted to get a drink while doing so, maybe not otherwise.

that was a surprise that there were no other customers in the restaurant at 530pm. It was good for a short meeting. but the double choco cake was too dry, and i could not taste it like a 'double'.

The setting is interesting but the lights are dim and music too loud for any serious reading. The coffee is diluted :( We also had French toast, banana pancakes and some mushroom pasta and they all tasted average only. The portobello fries was the best and recommended item of our meal.

It is a nice place with a very different set up. It is not a regular dine-in kind of a restaurant. But it is a nice place for a couple of drinks and a good quiet chat or read.

Went for brunch this time. Had the worst food in my life. Such a nice cafe but the food is horrible. Grilled pork doesn’t taste like meat, worst tomato sauce they using ! Veg tasted weird, I’m speechless

Overall nice ambience, interior a bit dark even in the day. Place is popular with foreigners too, probably due to the exposure of CRA, which was filmed opposite the cafe. Food wise their brunch menu was not bad. Had The Basics and Norwegian Royale. Presentation looked good and tasted delicious.

A quiet quaint cafe located in the charming Bukit Pasoh, next to Pinnacle@Duxton. Would recommend the Himalayan salt latte, which is rarely found in other cafes. Portobello mushroom eggs benedict and pancakes with fruits and ice cream are both above average.

Good coffee, but I'm not a fan of their choice of music. It had a reasonable crowd on Sunday late afternoon but not too noisy.

Had a great lunch in this cozy cafe, which surrounds you in books. Ordered their lobster pasta and "the works". which was great comfort food on a lazy Sunday. Note you will be seated in close proximity with the tables next to you so privacy is minimal. Service is pleasant. Just a pity didn't have their mains on offer when I was there.

Great place for a peaceful afternoon, the book collection is amazing. Must visit if you are an avid reader, you will keep coming back! Good food, though it could have been slightly better. - we ordered the salmon egg dish, mozarella tomato sandwich. My friends ordered different items previously and they had enjoyed their meal a lot. This time our order was`nt great.

The service was good and the service staff were friendly and were able to tell us more about the items on the menu so that we knew what we were ordering. Food was also good!
