The Armoury Gastrobar
About The Armoury Gastrobar
The Armoury Gastrobar brings the best from the West to the bustling streets of Singapore. That means American favourites from burgers and mac and cheese to European-style charcuterie, pizzas and British classics like fish and chips, as well as plenty of spirits, whiskeys, bourbons and lashings of craft beer to wash it all down. Pay them a visit on Beach Road in Singapore’s Downtown Core, just behind the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre and in the very beating heart of the city. Take the train to Esplanade, Promenade or Bugis stations and prepare for an American feast in Singapore – remember to book a table for you and your friends though, lest they get crowded.
Singapore is often cited as one of the best places in the world to eat Chinese, Indian, Malaysian, Japanese, Korean or frankly any of the great cuisines of Asia, and the focus in the city all too often looks to the east. There is a lot to be said, however, for the Western offerings that are available in the city state, and in the heart of the Downtown Core, one can find a restaurant that offers the best of Western cuisine to all those who cross the threshold on Beach Road. There are American, British, Italian and Spanish dishes – as well as a drinks menu as long as your arm – so head on into the Downtown Core and The Armoury Gastrobar.
The international menu is centred on Western cuisines, so let us take you through a few of the iconic dishes that you will encounter when you make a dinner appearance at The Armoury Gastrobar on Beach Road in the Downtown Core. From America, there are burgers – full-sized or sliders – and from Italy come pizzas and ragu dishes. Britain contributes fish & chips, cooked with ale and 24-hour duck fat fries, accompanied by traditional tartare sauce. The drinks are also Western-orientated, with a range of whiskeys and bourbons, alongside an ever-rotating roster of 15 international craft beers. Take a trip to Beach Road for one of the best Western restaurants in Singapore – just remember to book your table ahead of time, as they do get busy.
10 The Armoury Gastrobar Reviews
Always loved the big table that could seat a big gathering comfortably. The beers were top notch as always, fresh and cold. It's a pity that the food portions were smaller. Otherwise, great evening. Will come back again
The reservation could not be found. I hope the system should be improved. Think the restaurant is not very used to having large crowds. Might need to improve on this aspect.
Great food and excellent drinks. Highly recommend the pizza, and most beers are quite good, worth a shot if you haven't tried The Armoury before!
Great burgers and beer! As a gastro pub there could be better menu items but what they do have on the menu is excellent. Cheera
Service was attentive and simply great! Food wise, it was generally good. Most of us had the signature armoury burger and were quite satisfied. I found the buns a bit dry buts that's just me.
Great food and good service. One of the better burgers I've had for a while. Good serving size and a good drink selection to support. Will definitely be back!
Food is great. Drinks are great. Just note that their happy hour of 1st, 2nd and 3rd pint is counted per pax, and not by table.
desert takes too long to arrive. took over 30 mins. already told ther server 3 times to serve it and then they still didnt get back to me.
The ambience is good and there is live music too. However, the food is very salty. We were all feeling so thirsty after the meal.
