Nice value for money lunch at this Japanese restaurant. Will visit again.

Thw restaurant atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, very helpful and was able to accommodate our requests. Strongly recommended!

The service was very good. We had the foie gras truffle yakiniku and tanuki kaisen chirashi, both which were excellent.

Overall food was ok except that the rice was a bit hard, grains were not so well cooked. Restaurant ambience was good, but a little noisy during lunch hour.

Tanuki Raw serves good set lunch. And their seafood is fresh.

Pleasant place with good service and nice food. They also provide free water, which is increasingly rare.

Great service and great food. Recommended to top up $6 to make it a set with additions of green tea, miso soup, salad, 1 mochi and gyoza. I just wish the mochi was served later and not with the food so it didn't melt so quickly and also the salmon sashimi in the don can be colder.
