Sushi Jiro at Keppel Bay

Love this place. Love the food. Love the service. Just can’t get enough of their food.

The ambience is good and you're able to choose between a counter seat with sushi chef preparing the sashimi in front of you or the tables with relatively good privacy. The food was good and reminiscent of what you'd get in Japan. Service was also prompt.

The service staff were rather attentive and the quality of food was pleasant. I would probably try other Japanese fine dining restaurants before returning but not too bad an experience.

Beautiful quality sashimi in a nice space - though I wish they positioned tables at the window instead of further indoors behind the sushi bar that is facing the bay. Pricey, but they have some nice lunch sets. Service was pleasant though not outstanding (I did feel like the service staff - who are masked up - were too close for comfort when serving food and pouring drinks at this time when we are still in a pandemic.)

We went during a quiet time so it wasn't crowded. Service was fast and good. The counter seats have a pretty good view. Overall everything is decent except that it's a bit on the pricey side.
