Food was very average and staff wasn't too friendly or helpful. Really expected more from this place. But guess was pretty disappointed. Will prob not go again.

Ambience was okay. Pasta was bad. The Wagyu Beef Ravioli's texture was like mashed potato. And the Sea Urchin Pasta tasted like Mac and Cheese. Don't know about the other dishes.

Nice and cosy place. Conveniently located. Food was good, big portion. Service staff could afford to a bit friendly though. Lounge music was great! Enjoyed the place overall

Had a quick lunch at Sons for first time and enjoyed their "Big Lunch Plate" where main courses are all below $13.90! Food came pretty fast despite restaurant having a good lunch crowd. Good portion, great tasting main courses and attentive service. Had Salmon and Beef Stew, both were delicious. Could do with some dressing on the accompanying salad. Hope they will consider offering Lasagne for dinner if not lunch. Will definitely return for dinner.

Generally pleasant with a chic ambiance and a competitively-priced lunch menu. Food was generally good, although the steaks were quite overcooked (ordered medium-rare and received medium-well).

Good food and excellent service. Though restaurant was busy as it was lunchtime, it was not too overcrowded or noisy so you could have a conversation without having to speak too loudly. Also, had ordered a coffee at the end of the meal and the restaurant very kindly gave a second complimentary coffee which was a nice touch.

Food was good. Portion size was decent. Service was prompt and attentive even though it was crowded lunch time. Will go back there again :)

Lunch menu is good. Pretty good value for money. The salad that comes with the meal is a good portion, and good combi of veg, not just lettuce. There's pasta, beef, pork, chicken, fish and vegetarian options - suitable for groups with mixed dietary needs. +$5 to add a beer

Food was pretty good, it was value-for-money. We were very satisfied with the portions, especially for the baked chicken and the salmon. However, service can be improved upon.

I had the Grilled Beef Steak today, and overall it was good - the steak I ordered was medium-rare and the potatoes were perfectly soft yet crunchy. However, just a note that the steak was not consistently medium-rare throughout; at one end it was almost rare. Also it would have been good to have more potatoes as compared to the salad they gave on the side; the salad was quite tough to manage as it was a lot and quite long (the ends stuck out as I tried to eat them). Otherwise, friendly and efficient staff, prompt receipt of food and water was given without needing to ask. Very good value for money.

wagyu cheek and pork ribs are superb. Luckily we read review of food before going to &Sons. The waitress in-charge do not have any food recommendation when my friend was not sure what is good to order. The staff there has clear terrotory, only the waitress in-charge of our table will attend to us. Other waiters just pretend can't listen, can't see and walk passed our inquiry gesture. Food serving is fast, we do not wait for over 20minutes. Using entertainer apps to get main course at 1for1. Be there before 8pm for happy hour, but draft paulaner still charging $10/pint; u can get cheaper just across the street.

Food was presented well, had a good flavour and generally high quality. The roasted cod was succulent and far higher quality than one can buy in shops here. The ravioli was the right amount of firmness and again very tasty.

The service is so terrible. We waited 15mins for the waitress to take order for us and a good 30 mins tfor the appertizer to serve. Then we waited a good 45mins for our mains and got subbed by a waitress when we are asking for our food to be serve. It was a total disaster and we wouldnt go back again.

Excellent service from all staffs! The manager on duty even gave us a free shot each when he knows we are there to celebrate my friend hen's night =)

The food was yummy and well executed, though portions of mains were on the small side. Most disappointing was the disorganized, laggy and inconsistent service. Perhaps the front of house lacks a proper captain.

Pricing was quite reasonable and the food quality was good. Wine price is also affordable. Restaurant ambience was alright. Service staff were visible and on hand when needed. (We had dinner FYI) Will be back another time to try their lunch menu.

The lunch sets were pretty worth the buck. The steak I had was good and flavourful but the seafood linguine was a tad of a letdown.

Food was really good! We had lamb shank and beef cheeks. The chocolate lava cake is amazing! Service could be improved though, we werent told about the happy hour deal for wine bottles until after we ordered the 4th glass!

Really affordable good wine. We each had a pasta, everything was good. The duck ragu could've had more meat. The ravioli was the best. The truffle linguine was rather plain. BUT they came up with a pasta dish on the spot for our vegan friend which was pretty amazing.

went to &sons with the entertainer app and had a really good experience. food was good, service was brilliant and the overall experience was really nice. good live music as well!

Reservations were made at least 1-2 hours in advance, but still had to wait 15mins for a table and the only available table left given to us was not to my preference. It was located outside instead of inside. However, the service was decent, the speed of the items brought to the table varied quite a fair bit but still reasonable overall, and the food was quite good and of a large portion. So overall still alright. :)

Food from the lunch menu was great, serving was big too. Food was also served promptly. Service staff also know their stuff when asked questions.

&Sons big plate lunches are so value for money with huge portions and balanced taste! Of course, I love the cheery and efficient service here too. Will definitely be back to try their a la carte menu!
