Asked for a reservation as late as possible. Was told there was a minimum spend, and shown menus for what I could order when I came that evening. They said last reservation is 10.45, and they will hold table until 11. I showed up on time and was told if I wanted anything to eat I had to order on the spot because their kitchen was closing!!! Thank goodness I didn’t take those extra 10- 15 minutes to arrive! The chairs are so old that the cushions are pancakes and you can feel each spoke under the seat! I ordered the sliders which were cold upon arrival and didn’t have patties in them as much as they had a dollop of minced meat and onion. Ew! (No cheese, no lettuce, no fixings! Asked for ketchup. It was inedible . Never had ketchup that tastes like vinegar. Ordered a drink that was $28 and not much different then a gin and tonic, only the whole glass had about 1.5 ounces of liquid with an olive on top and a giant piece of ice taking up most of the glass. It was more of a shot than a cocktail. The only thing worth any value in this place is the view and the very kind hostess. The server was surly and unpleasant. Totally basic and disappointing

Love this place as the layout is very relaxing and It have great view of Marina Bay Sand where you can enjoy the laser show and fireworks.

We got the seats on the outside. Love it. Thanks for the surprise upgrade.

They were changing over the menu and only had half the products. They were out of many things.

Love the view but was disappointed that we couldn’t order a bottle of whiskey and there was no finger foods. So we had to move to another location. :(

Great view of MBS and the bay, fantastic service from staff and delicious cocktails that have a twist on the classics. Make sure you make a reservation well in advance, especially if you want outdoor seating.

View from the terrace is perfect. Drinks were interesting and staff had great knowledge about all their ingredients.

The waiter was very attentive and kept topping up our water, as we were there for food and drinks with our kids. The outside seats had a lovely view of the Padang. Nice especially during National Day. Only drawback is you might get many visitors coming up next to your table to get a free view. It was ok at first, but got a bit too annoying when they kept coming next to our table and couldn’t be bothered to keep their distance, even though they could see us having our meals there. We didn’t change our seats as that table had the best view of the Padang. My kids had fish and chips for lunch and the fish was really fresh as it’s one whole piece of fish meat and not the usual thin fillet. My daughter also enjoyed additional crispy fish skin as a snack. Overall it was a very pleasant experience for our family of 4.

Great atmosphere, food and drinks. Excellent table & waiting services. Could do with fans for better ventilation in the joint.

due to the preparations for Singapore's national day the temporary tribune has been set up blocking the front row of the Smoke&Mirror and making us feel like in a construction place. Food order did not come complete ie. we did not got all the items we ordered and we got things we did not order. Service was friendly. Actually a nice place that I visited before and certainly will do again once the tribune has been fully dismantled. A place for drinks - not so much for bar bites.

Need to have wider selections of food/bites. Cocktails are not really fantastic. Could be better! Superb view tho....
