Good ambience with good food and good service! Had the beef set and upgraded it to juno wagyu! Best beef ever! 👍🏻 Will definitely be back for it again!
Second visit to this restaurant . Service level is still good! Food and mbience are good. Lighting may be a little too dim for older folks, if they are the ones looking at menu and ordering. But not a big issue in my opinion.
Great food. The set menu is lots for one person. The ala carte truffle risotto is an interesting take on using the dashi broth from the shabu shabu with cheese and rice.
Nice restaurant and friendly staff. However, I find the lighting very dim and may not able to see the food is cook or not. The meat portion is very small for set meal. The appetizer and dessert is nice and special!
Service is great but have noticed multiple times when they refused to accept any more diners. On Christmas Eve, crew did not accept a party of 5 at 2130 hours, their last order time. will feedback to the owner when I meet him at another establishment.
Very high quality meats and lovely beef consommé broth. Staff are very polite but would do better with more explanation and proposals on what to order and popular recommendations, as well as how to prepare the food for first-time patrons.
We had a wonderful evening, loved the interactivity of the meal. Staff were friendly and efficient and the food delicious, lucky to have this gem in our neighbourhood
beef and pork were super good and the service staffs were excellent and friendly. location is a bit inaccessible but will still go back again for sure.
This was my fourth visit to the restaurant. Still my favorite Japanese premium shabu-shabu restaurant!! The wagyu not cheap but worth the price, paired well with the beef consumme soup base.
Our family had the sukiyaki for dinner, and although it was not completely authentic to the ones we had in Japan, it was good! The sauce got really thick and concentrated at the end, and we had to ask the waiting staff to top it up with water many times as they only added a small glass of it each time. Would recommend this to anyone who is willing to splurge on some good quality sukiyaki!
Nice restaurant and quality of food is great! Not very cheap but for the quality of meat they serve, it's worth it! Good service as well!
Decent food, on the pricey side. Ingredients were fresh. We weren't overly impressed by the premium ingredients, though. Overall, a nice neighborhood restaurant to stop by if you are close by, but not worth traveling to.
Quite and cosy place for dinner. I had the seafood shabby and was yums! The aircon is a tad too cold when the guests start leaving at the end of the day.
Good quality food and service. Over ambience is good too. Will come back again. Must try the truffle rissotto after finishing the steamboat. Value for money.
Very nice atmosphere Very fresh ingredients Very good service Price is slightly high though Will recommend friends to visit this place Will patronize again too
Had the beef and seafood set. Spent about sgd90 per pax. The portion given for the sets are quite small. Slightly overpriced. We had to order extras. The Japanese rice risotto is a must order! Service is attentive with good ambience.
The ingredients are very fresh, and the service staff are all very friendly. Overall a great experience! Desserts were lovely too. Will definitely go back again!
Simple but tasty food. Love the atmosphere & the staffs are very friendly too. As a whole it was a nice dining experience even though it is a bit pricey.
Had the Shabu beef set and the Wagyu beef was awesome with great marbling. Sauces was good, especially the lime and ponzu. Ishiyaki at the beginning as the 'appetizer' was a nice new experience for me. Will definitely be back!
We ordered two beef sets and one seafood set. Beef is tender, the rest nothing extraordinary, have to say the portion is quite small, just enough for ladies but may not be so for men.
Sukiyaki was really good! Service can be improved! The beef upgrade is worth the price we paid and we totally recommend this place! it's one of the better ones in Singapore
I enjoy all the soup bases and ingredients. Would hope they have choices of types of seafood for their seafood course. Generally enjoyable. Can be quite noisy though.
Meat served is of good quality and juicy. Seafood is very fresh. For a non-seafood person, was sold by the freshness of the scallops served. Broth is rich. Would definitely visit again. The Japanese risotto is a must try
great food, big portions, but pricey. we had a table outside on the balcony but it would be much better to sit indoors with aircon.
We visited the restaurant previously. Enjoyed the peacefulness in this estate. Kudos to the attentive staff who attended to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the thin slices of well marbled Joshua Wagyu. Previously, we were able to get a 10% discount from our krisflyer card. But, on our recent visit, we were told that there was no promotion at all, thus we need to pay the full price for a family of eight.
Food quality and service was excellent. The dessert was fantastic too. Only wish the interior lights can be brighter so that the photos can turn out nicer.
Overall experience is good , attentive staff and ambience is good . Food-related - Beef is good but expensive , pork and rest - average.
Great quality meats and vegetables for the shabu shabu. The milk candy dessert served as part of the set dinner provides a sweet and excellent end to the meal.
