Nice ambience, friendly staff, good service, happy with the food

Very nice food except the beef was too sweet - almost like dessert. I ordered an udon noodle hot soup with bean curd which was very good but the bean curd was as sweet as a candy. I think you ought to cut down on the sugar. Also the black interiors give a dingy appearance to the restaurant.

Food is good but service is haphazard. One of the items in the set is not available and we were informed in the midst of the dinner with no option to bow out.

As always, food was consistently very good, and good value for the price.

we picked this place just because we were already in the area and wanted some Japanese food for a birthday celebration. turned out to be a great decision. excellent quality and great service. set meals were much more value for money and allowed us to try more things from the menu. $85 for 2 pax, will consider returning on special occasions.

ordered the lady lunch set, seafood hotpot. the seared or aburi sushi was so nicely done that they melted in my mouth. will be back.

My reservation was 8pm but due to traffic, we were only able to reach 8.30pm. Called the restaurant to inform. The staff politely agreed to hold the reservation till 8.30pm. No questions asked. Food was good. Ambience was good. Tables were spaced apart, not too close to each other. Cozy place with reasonable prices. Will recommend others to visit.
