Stopped by for a business lunch/meeting with a supplier. Great food and friendly, unfussy service. Tables are not crammed in so there is still enough privacy to conduct a conversation.

It was crowded on a Saturday evening, food was served after an acceptable waiting time. Price was very reasonable as well.

Quiet eatery (during lunchtime) tucked away in the east, non-aircon so it can get quite warm. Food takes awhile to arrive and portions are average but food is decent. Serves a good selection of British/western food with brunch and mains, dessert and coffee options.

Food has the right idea but not finished with the right quantity of ingredients. Ranchero eggs was dry with a sweet dry base, not enough tomamtoes cream. Eaton mess - lots of meringue but no cream?? Or hardly any. Perhaps they don't want to pay for dairy products. Beer

Food was OK. No hot water refill for tea was allowed so I ended up with cold and thick cup of tea to drink.

Service felt rushed, noises restaurant, we had trouble hearing the other side of the table. Food was not great, tuna was bit fresh and quatites small

Nice location but the rest is really disappointing: 45min waiting time, hair in the food, waiter takes order for 2 people out of 5 and then leaves without a word. Quality of food is ok but nothing outstanding.

Portions are small for the price. Had smashed avocado. Worst I have had. The avocado was just a very thin spread on the bread. I put more jam on my toast for breakfast.

The Beef Wellington and Bread & Butter Pudding were good. The rest average. Service was friendly. Could be more efficient.

Went for for Sunday roast - Booked for 1pm got there and they had sold out- Long gone are the days of good service here - we stayed only because we had traveled to the East Coast - food seemed very average this visit and the service wasn’t great either . I t will be a while before I return if I do.
