Praelum Wine Bistro

Amazing place. The Sommelier is very knowledgeable, and the salmon is good. The people serving are friendly, but unfortunately, the Enomatic wine dispenser isn’t operating. I was there to actually have a look at the wine dispenser. Despite that, it is still an amazing place to chill.

Very nice wine collection and knowledgeable, helpful staff. Gerald knows his stuff and he’s a nice story teller! Great experience!! Food is good but quality fluctuate from time to time. Overall, pleasant experience!!

Came here on a date with wife. Food is good value for money and staff are very attentive. There is also a good selection of wine for wine lovers.

Praelum is a great wine bar and served decent food. We were recommended different types of wine and it was lovely. I would happily return and bring friends.

Very friendly & knowledgeable staff on wine. Cosy & informal. Simple menu but what we ordered were executed well. Particularly liked the baked Brie & beef cheeks.

We had a great time! Great selection of wine, we ordered an Alsace Riesling and Gerald recommended a very good 2002 Pauillac. Food was very good food as well fyi the baked brie was incredible. Happy recommended.

Service was pretty good and food was delicious. Probably the only downside was the limited menu options for main courses. Nonetheless, the atmosphere was good and the food was worth the price!

Amazing selection of wine..great recommendations by in house sommelier! The food was decent and they surprised us with a tiramisu on the house to mark our anniversary celebrations

Got to try a special flight of wines menu (which was a gift from a friend). Didn't expect much but walked away impressed with the variety offered, and even more surprising was that the food fared very well too. The combination was such a pleasant experience that we returned very soon after . Alas the chef was on leave and the food wasn't quite the same.

Love this cozy wine bistro. Food (especially the beef cheeks) is always good and the sommeliers are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Good selection of bottles in their cellar.

There were smoking tables outside - however the doors weren’t closed. Hence my friends and I smelt like smoke when we left the place. Would be good if the door could be kept closed

Wonderful experience at Praelum with a comprehensive wine selection. The sommelier was very helpful and his picks were sublime. Food was also very nice and were an excellent companion to the wines.

Gerard was awesome in his customer service - lots of stories about wineries and he definitely knows his wines! All his recommendations were spot-on! He remembers us and our preferences as well. Food is delicious at Praelum too!

Nice little cozy restaurant located amongst the Tanjong Pagar shophouses with a good selection of wines albeit the limited dining menu. Staffs gives good recommendations on wine.

Came here with 2 other friends and overall the experience was great! The service staff were pleasant and attentive. The menu was pretty good for sharing and the wine selection and recommendation was awesome.

The place is quite nice and the food is good. However, because the place was quite crowded, we had to wait about one and a half hours for our food to be served. Even the complimentary bread took more than half an hour to arrive. So be prepared to wait if you're there when it's crowded.

Very knowledgeable sommeliers who can tell you all you need to know about the wines and have a good knowledge of the wine regions. The food and wine was perfect for an evening catching up with friend 👌🏻

This is a good wine place. Staff has extensive wine knowledge, just let them know what wine you wan in what price range, they can provide you a good options.

Good food and wine, with excellent service. Staff knows their wines! Recommend the flight of 5 wines to taste a range of their bottles. Come earlier around 6 or 7 to avoid the noise crowds on weekends

Great place to learn more about wine. The Sommelier Gerald is very knowledgeable and charismatic, he'll bring you through the history and story of each wine. Food is good as well.

I had an enjoyable evening here. I was served excellent wines for my flight of 5, with each wine very different from each other, with its own distinct character. I also ordered pork parcels, which coincidentally (or not), came between my first 2 wines (a prosecco and a Pouilly-Fume) and paired very well with both wines. Service was excellent and staff were knowledgeable about their wines too. Definitely a great place for even beginners to learn more about the wines out there.

They have a very intensive wine list, drinking experience there is very good but overall the food selection is limited and is a bit pricey.

Great service! I had 5 glasses Flight wine Set, they personnalisé the tasting set based on my preference and each wine complemented the food perfectly. Each pour Comes with interesting sTory about the vineyard and grape variety. Highly recommended for those who want explore & learn more about wine appreciation. Much appreciated, Michelle

Honest, unpretentious place with a good selection of wine. Love the baked Brie and chicken. Gerald the sommelier is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful - I learn something new each time.

Food was nice but slightly overpriced. The place is a little warm maybe cos the door was opened but the staff are friendly and helpful

Very helpful staff - they explained the wines very well and some great choices on the menu for food. We had a Sauvignon Blanc with a crispy thin tart.

Excellent quality of modern european food with fantastic service throughout the night. The staff have excellent knowledge of wines, recommend to try the flight of 3 or 5 wines
