Tucked away on Upper Changi Road in the Far East side of Singapore, Porta Porta Italian Restaurant provides a little piece of Italy to Singapore diners. With the cosy ambience and homely decor, paired with the home-style food, visit Porta Porta Italian Restaurant and you’ll feel like you’re dining at a friend’s home in Southern Italy. On the menu you’ll find something to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Some of our favourite dishes include the seafood spaghetti and the rosemary chicken with roasted potato and a tomato salad, and the traditional tiramisu is a must-try! To guarantee a table at Porta Porta Italian Restaurant, making a reservation in advance is recommended.
Food was delicious as always. Chose the fai te menu. I prefer to leave it to the chef cos they never leave me disappointment. On the contrary, always wanting more. The portions are just right. It's not too much or too little. Will always be my favourite Italian restaurant. So authentic.
Excellent as always! The food is awesome and the service is sincere. Very cosy environment but reservations are definitely required to avoid any disappointment. Good!
Not our first time at Porta Porta. Warm, personal service and good food as always. The place to go for authentic Italian cuisine. Will definitely return.
Tried the Fai Te set for dinner. Food was served in small portions similar to Japanese Omakase. However, the chicken served was a bit dry. The appetisers were great! I especially love the calamari. Nice ambience.
Porta Porta offered up a brilliant homely Italian experience - the service wasn't the best because it was a busy night, but the food more than made up for it. My partner and I ordered the 'Fai Te' set menu - akin to a Japanese omakase - with seven courses, and I thoroughly enjoyed the starters, ratatouille, and the soups. Complete your meal with a bottle of top-notch wine and trust me, it will make your night.
We had the house menu and was wonderfully pleased with the food. The food quality was good, the waiter was very attentive to our needs as well. The only setback was the table was placed too near the door, so with the opening and closing of the door, the overall experience was affected.
One of our favourite Italian places - used to frequent the outlet at Tanjong Pagar and loved the food there. Our visit here left us very pleased as well. Quintessentially unpretentious, simple Italian food. Loved the gnocchi and calamari. Will try their other items next time!
My third time dining here and still as pleasant always! Note that there are only 3 selection for lunch set ( meat, seafood and vegetarian). Downside is one cannot mix and match the items. Come in a group to sample more.
Excellent Food, Service was good , Parking was easy - place was unique with nice soft music. Overall ,we had great evening. I do suggest you make a reservation as the place is small.
Enjoyed the ambience. Came here for lunch a and they only serve set meals for lunch. I ordered a seafood set and my partner ordered a meat set. The Enjoyed my vongole a lot, the squid was Super fresh. The lamb wasn't much of a show stopper though. Great atmosphere.
