Believing that food doesn’t have to be complicated to be enjoyed, :pluck is a restaurant down Singapore’s Club Street that’s gusty and unpretentious. It’s an Asian casual kitchen & bar that features an open kitchen and carries open mindset towards food. It’s where uncomplicated interpretations of classic dishes are served up to the delight of the city’s cosmopolitan palates. :pluck layers local and regional flavours that will bring a smile to everyone's face and by that we mean current head chef, Nicholas Teo, stamps his gastronomic mark with new signature dishes like Thai-inspired tom yum cereal salmon and spicy beef ribeye.

The Establishment’s Brandon Teo cut his teeth (and a good many ingredients) working alongside luminaries of the culinary world like Andrew Walsh, Karl Dobbler, Julien Royer and Ebbe Vollmer. His frank and fresh approach to global cuisine has garnered his various restaurants and passion projects effusive praise from critics and diners, and :pluck is no exception. Offering both lunch and dinnertime menus, :pluck takes perennial classics and gives them a creative twist.

Combining an array of international influences, at lunchtime head to :pluck to fuel up for the day with the When You Missed Breakfast (scrambled, slow-cooked or sunny side up eggs, bacon and brioche, roasted veggies and pork sausages) or go for something healthy but equally as delicious like the Good Health Binge (a salt-baked beetroot, pine nut pauline, housemade whipped ricotta and watercress salad). Nice and friendly staffs! Serving of food wasn't too quick nor too slow, was given a counter seat and same time the area wasn't too oily. Highly recommended!

Nice experience, ambient was nice. Used the 'Snatch' app for 1-for-1 deal, and had the Salted Egg Wings and Deep-fried Tako (which is Octopus). A nice place to chill after the end of the day.

Attentive service, great recommendations and delicious food! I had the Tom yum cereal with salmon (the meat was so soft and well cooked), and scallop ceviche (so good and it melts in your mouth)! Must-try for a cool spin on classic dishes. :)

I came here on Friday and Its my second visit. Good beer, great food and great service. I would recommend to book early if you're coming on weekends.

Beautiful place! What I like best is the creative menu and the tastes. Most of these hipster places do offer plenty of promising stuff, but this one had real fresh ingredients. You could taste the difference in quality and enjoy a well thought of and well prepared meal. Despite being more of a drinks and tapas setting, the dinner was well balanced, well priced and really opened me beyond my snobbish self. I didn't want to snap pictures and update my instagram as the experience from the whole thing was pretty overwhelming and I wasn't prepared. I ended my meal with their homemade earthquake ice cream offering. God what a creation. Perhaps in tune with the SG50 theme, each flavour was made from one of the childhood sweets 20 years back - from the peanut candy to white rabbit. Really a pleasant way to end the meal. Highest rating for being such a hidden gem!

Despite waiting for almost 45mins for my snacks to arrive, the food were actually good. I wasn't too sure if they forgotten our order especially since the table beside us ordered later than us and got theirs first and almost done with theirs, then our food arrived. Would appreciate if instead of asking if we want still or sparkling water, do inform the guests that, it's not free and also offer the options of other plain water. It does seems sneaky. However, the food were magnificent and totally will recommend it. The flaws are mainly the service but there's always room for improvement. The food portion for sharing is not exactly for sharing, more like "selfish" serving. Would I come back? yeah but not immediately

It was an overall great experience! I really enjoyed my time at pluck, good atmosphere, good food and outstanding customer service. I would like to give a special shout out to one of the waiters, Gabriel who has provided us with such excellent service, it has made our dining experience even more wonderful. I highly recommend this place to those who like to unwind after work and have a good time.

nice ambience and great opportunity to eat along the street which is closed to car traffic. good food for community sharing and small portions per serving allow us to be able to try more variety. friendly staff - only snag is that we had to wait for the guest from earlier booking to leave; waited for about 15 mins.

Really good experience, the food was great with a good value for money. We were just a bit disappointed by the service which seems to be better for lunch than for dinner. Be also careful about the Happy Hour which was not available when we came, contrary to what is indicated on the website and the menu.

I love their Pork ribs and Wagyu Beef burger. Very nice place to chill with friends and loved ones. Would recommend to my friends and relatives to go as well. The staffs are friendly and easy going, you can always ask for their recommendation on dishes and drinks. :)
