Quality food with great service. The food was overall good, except that the risotto could be better. The staff members were attentive and polite. Already my third time visiting Platypus.

Nice ambience, good service, good food, reasonable price. Enjoyable 🙂 I discovered the place by accident and returned this second time with my whole family. Enjoyable both first and second time.

One of the many times I have used Quandoo to make a reservation. Platypus has excellent food as always. Service could be a tad faster.

Once again, I came back to Platypus through Quandoo. Pasta was great as usual. Some of the servers were particularly attentive. So thanks to the uncle server!

Had a great birthday surprise for my hubby. The staffs were very friendly and attentive to the needs. I booked through the app and asked if it is possible to have a slice of cake with candles and the staffs automatically served it later at the desserts course. The food there is nice as well. Worth to try it!

Food beautiful, prices very reasonable, lovely service! Would definitely return. We had the set meal for two. Great portion sizes and the pork was unreal!!!

The service and ambience were great. However it took more than 5 minutes for the staff to get us the check, maybe a shortage of staff. Food was okay, looking for more varieties in the menu.

Wonderful ambience as we had a semi private cosy corner Long table for our gathering. Great steak and cheese sandwich and desserts were yummy too. Love the iced latte as well.

We chose the dinner set menu for 2. The food was quite good and the portions were sizeable, we ended up not being able to finish. And also special mention to the friendly staff who also provided a complimentary desert to celebrate our special occasion!!

Food was pretty good, friendly and attentive staff as i called in the afternoon to make a special request for my dinner and they remembered it :) quite a good experience. Food slightly overpriced tho.

My second time here, quite pricey, food was Not bad. Attentive staff, but could be more flexible with the sitting arrangement as I was one of the pre-peak customer but was sitted right by the door with glaring sunlight.

Nice ambience, good service, delicious food. The Ribeye and Truffle Gourmet Rice Bowl ($26.90) had an aromatic truffle smell and the chewy tenderness of the ribeye beef was just right. Portion was not very large though.

Great place to have lunch. The restaurant offers an executive set lunch of salad/soup, a selection of different mains to choose from, and a drink. You can top up to change the drink to coffee or even an alcoholic beverage.

The food was good but waiting time is a little Long.

Bustling restaurant. Value for money set dinner with well-sized portions. Only gripe was that the truffle oil used in the "Ribeye & Truffle" dish was too synthetic and overpowering.

Consistently good experience as always! Very courteous and professional staff. Only feedback is that we had the same "Soup of the day" for the fourth time in a row. I do no think that this is a coincidence anymore.

This place has a great ambience. Perfect place to bring your dinner date. If you’re into fusion cuisine then this will be your place. Was surprised to find actual truffle slices in my truffle fries - Especially considering the price I paid. Also strongly recommend their pork. Grilled beautifully and each bite had me wanting more and more

Delicious meal, reasonably-priced, great service. I had steak frites and they mean it when they said it’s medium rare! Pannacota was a bomb! My lunch was awesome!

The food is above average, still can improve on the texture of the pasta and pork as both are too hard. The crab pasta dish is too dry which more sauce is needed. The grilled pork presentation is good but the meat is not tender enough and way too dry. The most satisfying dish is the half chicken which the meat is tender and easy to eat. The restaurant service is good.

The staff here are friendly, patient and attentive to your needs. The food are delicious and in good portions. The ambience is nice and pleasant.

We were slightly late, but the staff still save our seats. As we were there for brunch and stay until 5pm. They still maintain friendliness, throughout.

Amazing truffle fries and jazzed up, grown-up rendition of mac and cheese! Bring the carrot cake back, was one of the best I’ve had.

I ordered the Truffle Fries and the Salmon in Lemongrass Coconut Creme. While the former was absolutely delicious, the latter is a major disappointment. The Salmon was tender but it's not worth the price point.

I've always enjoyed my time here. Drinks and food are affordable and tasty. Only thing is that it does take some time for your food to arrive. Other than that, it's one of my favourite go-to places in Bugis.

Great joint from either couples to company dinner setting. Wide range of dishes that they do decently well. go for the set menu if you are a couple. much value.

Service is great. They let us have a bigger seat area even though there are only 3 of us. It may cost a little more but the food is good overall.

They got our order wrong twice and served me a medium rare steak when I ordered for well done. Upon paying, also charged us wrongly for 2 items that we did not order. Service was good though.

Had a pleasant experience having my dinner at the Platypus Kitchen yesterday. The atmosphere during dinner was very lively and abuzz. Service team was amazing, they were sharp but also friendly. Ordered the Truffle Fries and the Beef Lasagna. More than it being Instagram-worthy, the portion was just right, and never had any doubt that the food matched the price. If you do not mind spending on good food with a buzz-filled atmosphere in a convenient location (5 mins walk from Bugis MRT), I will highly recommend this place! - (Come hungry, you will be satisfied!!!)

We ordered the 2-person 4-course meal. The ribeye & truffle had the most distinctive and inviting truffle flavour. The pan-roasted pork tenderloin came with the apple chutney dip which we loved so much that we couldn't get enough of it. Ordered the parmesan mushrooms which is not part of the 4-course set meal, and it was a terrific choice. All in all, a satisfactory meal with prompt and friendly service.

Good environment and food. Friendly staff. Worth the $$ you spent. Definitely will try again if got chance.... Recommended to try at least once for this restaurants....

Ambience was great. However, was expecting more on the food for the price we paid.

Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here, they help to write down the birthday wishes on the dessert, the staff was friendly and the ambiance was nice. The food also not bad
