Great hospitality by the humorous and conversant manager. The recommendation of food suit the taste of everybody and I really love the beef when it melts in my mouth.
Food was excellent with the selection of delicacies authentic dishes. The size of prawn as ingredient in dimsum was amazing larger than others.. Probably be the most value dimsum ala cart buffet in town. Staff was great with service mind :)
The staff are very friendly and able to recommend best menu for us. We had in house custom menu by the chef. The food is great!
The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. I like the classic oriental ambience and I enjoyed my meal very much. Great place.
Brought 2 overseas guests there for lunch today. This restaurant is in a nice Chinese classical setting. Not overly done up. Air conditioning is strong so for those who like it cool, this is a fantastic place. They offer set menu, ala-carte menu and ala-carte buffet. They have nice dim sum art here where they craft little dim sums into cute animals or plants. If you opt for ala-carte buffet, they serve you the normal shaped ones. If you love prawns, this is the dim sum place to be. Most of their dim sum selections include some form of prawns in it. Fresh and crunchy. HOWEVER, if you do not like prawns or have an allergy related to prawns or crustacean (like that of my guests), then this is a really bad option. The manager was nice enough to head into the kitchen and got the chef to whip up something nice for them once he learnt they have allergies!! Now THIS is customer service.
It was very difficult to get my call to the restaurant. Last few days, I tried calling them many times to inform them to change my reservation from 8 to 6 persons. But no one bothered to pick up the call. Generally the staff was good except for the last one who just left the food on the side table and walk away to serve another table. Because our table was full with many empty plates. We laughed for we thought he was trying to work smart by avoiding the dirty work. 😂
Went for Dim sum buffet - dim sum is good. We love the decor and we were surprised by the variety in the ala carte buffet menu which also includes soup, appetizers, some main dishes, carbs and desserts. Tables are pretty spread out at this restaurant so you also can have good conversations as well. Service is also good.
Peony Jade - Keppel Club has a cosy ambience. Relaxing surroundings. Food was served relatively fast. Service was good. Food was delicious. Will go there again.
We got there and really didn't know what to order. Starting to get frazzled but Francis suggested for items. He recommended just enough and wasn't pushy. His suggestions were spot on. Overall good food and highly recommended.
The food is fresh & delicious! & the price for the ala carte dim sum buffet is cheap at S$30. The service is very attentive. The only bad point is the chair is too high & make the seat very uncomfortable thus not able to sit for long.
