Delicious food, staff remembers what you order and when she did not see that dish on our table, she thought it didn't arrive and wanted to check on it. Nice cozy place!

Loved the decor and ambience. Even though we sat near the entrance in a cozy little corner it was never noisy. Croissants were amazing and service was wonderful!

Attentive service and food was good as usual. I have been to this outlet last year and guests are now less packed due to Covid-19 social distancing regulations so it was very pleasant. Shame we had to leave after two hours for the next seating, but that’s how it is now.

Ambience was very nice. The staffs were all very friendly & helpful. However the price point of the food is on steep side. The risotto rice was not thoroughly cooked. Overall, pleasant experience:)

I thought I had booked a table for two outside but upon arrival we were taken inside. So I am not quite sure whether I made a mistake while booking or if my preference was registered.

Had an enjoyable lunch with a friend except for the construction that was going on opposite. we were seated outside which made it worse. Had the impossible burger which wasn't too bad. Place was busy which was good to see.

A Friday night that was spent so peacefully with two of my girlfriends. Love how much space we had to ourselves from next table and was served by the same gentle waiter throughout. (Will auto clear plates when done, pour our white wine when our glasses is empty) Thumbs up for having standards! Will definitely visit again!

My friends & I ordered drinks with pizza & wedges. The serving time was fairly quick and the service staff are very attentive to our requests as well. Will be back again!

Average food, above average environment. Seems like the slot for dining is very tight , I was reminded several time through phone call , verbally regarding the dining timing.

The service staff was very attentive and had a lot of initiative. The food served was fresh and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Definitely would love to return again!

It was ok in terms of value of food. Ambience was good, but more that there is a 1.5 hour meal time, which was a bit of a rush, as food didn’t exactly come out fast.

An unpleasant end to an otherwise good lunch. My friend and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The servers were attentive during our meal, but when it came to closing the tab, the matter was improperly handled. I had gone to the restroom and my friend passed my card to the waiter when he dropped off our bill. When I returned and saw the invoice along with my credit card, I naturally thought the bill had been settled and left the restaurant. Nobody stopped us to clarify the incident. An hour later, I received 4 missed calls from a restaurant server. She recounted the incident to me and asked that I resolve the bill via a Paynow transfer to her. I was uncomfortable with this arrangement as it was difficult to verify the incident, and this was not the official Merci Marcel UEN number. In good faith, I made the transfer. However, I am unimpressed by the restaurant’s slow reaction time, miscommunication between the team and for putting the customer on the spot. This was an unsavoury experience that I hope will not be repeated in future.

Délicieux! Merci Marcel food is really delicious. I really recommend the duck parmentier and the Croque Marcel. Ingredients are fresh, the portion are prefect and the presentation is nice as well. The French cuttelry brings a nice touch too! The service and place are nice too although it's a bit cold inside and the service of drinks (which don't require long preparation time) can be a bit lengthy, but this is just to be picky.
