Duxton hill branch seems to give better overall experience. This was somewhat lacking. Was told that the signature dish was out of stock at 6pm, start of the dinner service, which was quite surprised. Thankfully they rechecked and still had a portion left. The food was quite mid and wouldn’t revisit there unless I’m there for the view.

Absolutely loved our dining experience here! The location offers a great view of the bay area, and the restaurant was nice and quiet enough for decent conversation. We had stellar service from the ladies, and were taken very good care of. The menu was explained to us, we got recommendations, and during the meal, our glasses were topped up and we got everything we asked for. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and we felt really full. After the meal, we were also given a return voucher. Mom really enjoyed our New Year's Eve dinner, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

During peak hours, the atmosphere can be quite noisy, which might detract from your dining experience. However, I must commend the staff for their prompt and efficient service, ensuring that we didn't have to wait long for our orders. Just keep in mind not to set your expectations too high. As for the food, it was acceptable, although it didn’t quite match the culinary experience we enjoyed in France. While the flavors were decent, I found myself longing for the rich and sophisticated tastes that we had grown accustomed to during our time there. Overall, it was a satisfactory visit, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

We recently had lunch at Steak & Fries Bistro at Customs House, and it was good. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal.

abit expensive and the beef is abit tough for our liking, but staff was quite nice & surrounding very high class! do take note that tap water is $3/pax

Service is good as usual and quantity (salad, fries and sauce) was substantial this time. However the cut of the steak seems to be of poorer quality.

I actually get really cheesed off when restaurants in Singapore don't even offer tap water as an option…. So, admittedly, that started off on a not so great note. After the complimentary bread was served, I had to proactively ask for butter, olive oil & vinegar for. Strange how it wasn't served as a default. Were we expected to eat the bread on its own? 🤔 The green salad with walnuts, which comes with the main course, was fine. A nice accompaniment to the rich sauce & fries that come with the main course... & a good way to get my leafy greens in. & here is the main course - the only one on the menu: Trimmed Entrecôte Steak ($48.80++), which they proclaim as their “crown jewel”. The golden French fries were great; served piping hot, & also unlimited. Their secret sauce was good, although I’d hesitate to call it “legendary” as they do). It has a unique tangyness to it, & you can request for more at no additional cost. Service was quite attentive; the staff would come around to ask us if we wanted more fries/sauce. The steak, however, … I mean, I guess it was fine. I remembered the price point to be way more affordable, but is has been a hot minute since I dined here. HSBC cards apparently get a 15% discount, but I forgot to bring mine & it was not worth the trouble to go home to get it…. Moment of silence pls. TLDR: At this price point, you can get better steaks out there. Although they wouldn’t have free flow fries. 🙂

ambience better at the other location. service forgot our soup until they went around to ask for last orders. the steak for 2 was tasty, but the meat around the bone was more rare than the medium rare we ordered, so it was tough to cut. marrow and escargot was done nicely so thankfully a little something to save the night.

Food is great, ordered the oysters sharing steak, beef carpaccio, beef marrow and vanilla ice cream dessert. Beef marrow was a disappointment but the rest of the dishes were tasty. Service has great room for improvement, the staff kept saying that we should order an additional steak since there’s three of us and the sharing steak is only for two. The total amount food turned out more than enough. We also checked whether they’d be able to do mocktails since one of us is driving and got a positive answer. The mocktail turned out to be alcoholic and the staffs started blaming on each other while still attempting to charge us for the drink we can’t have. It’s a little bit too much small hiccups for a simple birthday dinner, there are many alternatives with similar menu and price.

Great food and service. Overall dining atmosphere was great too. We totally did not mind the outdoor seating on a humid evening.

Steak was not bad without the entrecôte sauce. Recommend to request for the sauce on the side!

Atmosphere was lovely - we had a nice view of MBS and were given seats by the boardwalk. The steak was decent for the price point, but maybe I had high expectations? Didn’t enjoy the sauce that smothered the steak and (in my opinion) covered up the taste of the beef. Highlights were the oysters and the crab cakes.
