It is the tough times for the industry and this restaurant went over the top to provide great service with a great attitude. Definitely will continue to support them.

2nd visit after visiting it a couple of years ago. Ordered mainly from the Japanese sumiya menu but found most of the grilled meats not salty enough. Best was the prawns and capellini(can cut down on saltiness).

Terrific Omakase menu. Christian, the barman, did a great job and is a Super friendly person. All the staff had complete knowledge of every dish, components and preparation. Great wine list and reasonable prices. Going back again soon.

Ambience is unique although a little cramped. Great for small group of friends to gather or chill. The food is nicely presented and a tad salty.

We arrived for an early dinner at 6.15, there was no other diner at that point. The overall environment was very pleasant, almost like a hidden wine cellar. Staff are friendly too. We were ordered the 1-for-1 9 course Omakase meal, which originally priced at $210++ per meal. However, taste wise was a little shortfall of our expectations. Quite a few dishes were a bit too salty and the dish offering within the course can be better designed. Our 7th course was a steak, although one of the best dish, it came at a point when we were quite full. The next dish was risotto and ended with chocolate mousse, another “heavy” dish. Would have been nice to end off with choice of a lighter dessert.

Excellent offer of 1 for 1 omakase. We had the most expensive set and food was fresh and tasty. Cocktails were very very good. Must try!

Cosy ambience for a group gathering. Omakase 5-course lunch was visually appealing and tasty. We had sparkling sake which adds a nice touch to the overall experience.

On the up side - great quality food, creative dishes, fun setting and friendly staff. On the down side - very quiet (although it was a Wednesday night), quite expensive despite being a discounted 1 for 1 offer and the flavors weren't mind blowing (lamb with red wine jus, mash and brocollini for example). Worth a second visit, but next time on a Fri/Sat to benefit a more bustling crowd (hopefully).

fantastic meal! We had the 1 for 1 7 course omasake and was totally worth it! Starting off alright but was quick to build up which disj after dish exceeding previous expectations! hero dishes worth mentioning are the short ribs, scallops truffled cauliflower puree, capellini, smoked trout and sea salt caramel n choc mousse. Great ambience and service too!

Great quirky bar/restaurant - creative cocktails and food for sharing. Japanese cuisine with French flavors. You can choose to sit at the bar or enjoy privacy over a small table.

For two people, the bill was close to 500 SGD. At this price you expect great service. Whilst the food was generally quite tasty and well presented, the service was less than acceptable. Not worth the price paid.

Had the 7-course omakase for dinner. A bit too salty for my taste, otherwise nothing wrong but no standout dishes. Service was nonchalant - poor presentation by the waitress (plates facing the wrong way etc) and little enthusiasm in introducing the courses. Spent about $200 as it's a one-for-one deal, but probably won't be back. Pity though, the space and decor has potential.

Great experience, fantastic dishes that had looked good, smelt good and tasted good. We also had amazing service from the bartender who became our 'live' drinks menu :)

Quality food, staffs and environment. Most of the dishes surprised me. The narrow space not really affecting the overall dining experience, instead I found it more cozy and interacting. Acoustic has yet to improve as there are a lot of hard wall surfaces which does not help to minimise the noise level, as a result everyone raises their voice.

Staffs are very friendly and professional. Love the ambiance. It does give an underground tunnel kind of vibe. I absolutely love the cocktails there. If you do go, you have to get their bespoke cocktails. Its very unique and interesting!
