We had a carafe of sake and grilled meat skewers. The pork belly meat skewers are really fantastic.

First time here for me. The service was impeccable. The food was not hastily prepared like other Japanese restaurants. I tried the Unagi Kabayaki and my wife the Salmon Ochazuke. Plus the Chicken Mentaiko stick. All were tasty. Will come back.

Affordable set lunches found here, quite tasty and filling. Service is a tad inattentive even when they aren't full house. Worth a visit if you're at Suntec City.

The food was pretty decent especially kushiyaki which was flavourful, though the space in the restaurant was rather tight. Service was quite alright. Not bad overall.

relaxed environment for group dinners. food service (expect tapas size dishes as it's an izakaya) was fast as restaurant wasn't crowded. drinks took a while though.

Good ambience and service. The restaurant also offers Entertainer services so the food was cheaper! Food is slightly on the saltier side so let the staff know if you’d like less salt!

Only 2 service to the whole restaurant. Food was average. Ordered Australian beef rice and beef was slightly overcooked and very small. Each piece is around the size of an eraser and there were around 6 pieces in all. Same for the Ramen. 3 slices of thinly sliced pork and no bigger than the size of 1/2 a name card. Definitely not value for money. And location was a little hard to find as it is outside of the mall.

Restaurant was empty at 12pm on weekday and had to remind the staff for drinks and missing food items a couple of times.

We had a good dinner meal at Kuro. The garlic fried rice was excellent. So was the Ramen. The Kushiyaki was also very good. Did not try the Sashimi but the prices looked OK. Reasonably priced for 10 Kushiyaki, a Ramen and a Garlic fried rice for 3 of us.

Service was good, but a little slow. Food was average. Highly recommend the grilled kurobuta jowl - the texture was soft and juicy, but we felt there was too much seasoning such that the natural taste of the pork was overpowered. Kushiyaki was average as well.

Not too good. Food is expensive even with the discount but it comes with a small portion. The kayitori is also just average quality. Overall we were disappointed.

very nice place, quiet given it is the lunch crowd in CBD, fodo was pleasant. the only thing is that the staff was quite clueless about the food/promotions coz I liked the venue and was asking about their drinks etc at night, but they had no idea.

the kushiyaki were hit and miss. Mushroom and vegetables were fine but not the pork and chicken, which were rather tasteless and hard to chew

good overall, except we kept getting interrupted by staff bringing food that we did not order, if only the staff would check carefully before sending the food to the correct tables

The atmosphere was very good for a client engagement session. There is a good selection of drinks and skewers but the small plates for sharing are limited.

Not horrible but have had better. Food was cold fast. Baby seat was filthy. I have a habit of wiping down the seat. The wet wipe ended up brown in colour.

The food was great and service is friendly. We had an enjoyable time. However, it is a bit hard to find the place. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place for a meal.

It was group of 11. Food was very yummy indeed, but food serving needs major improvement. Restaurant was not big, maybe indoor seating capacity was about 30 max. Food was not served on time, and especially disappointed that salad (the easiest to prepare) came the 2nd last, and the last diner had to gobble her food cos the rest of her group was already done. Waiting time was like at least between 30 - 60mins intermittently. However, to show their apologies, the restaurant did some compensation to the group though. But the diners are having 2nd thoughts in returning to the place again.

Busy on a friday night and restaurant seems to be under staffed. There is a good promotion for draft beer and food standard is adequate.

Food is pretty good at reasonable pricing. Service is ok but can be improved. Restaurant is quite empty when we visited, but maybe that's normal for a Sunday evening.

Restaurant staff not knowledgeable about food nor drinks menu. Unsure what the food item(s) are when asked and also recommended wrong sake when asked which sake is more dry. Was brought an unfiltered sake and sweet version (non-dry). Asked for change and waiter say cant as sake already poured into sake decanter (ie we didnt get to see sake opened at our table). Food itself were very average. If you are looking for a place to have quick meal, then probably ok. Definitely not a place to chill and catch up with friends over good food and sake. However, wait staff were friendly just clueless if you ask them about the food/ dtinks on menu. Also wait staff took a long time to deliver both foods and drinks. Probably a case of understaffed restaurant.

The reservation was made a day before but the table was not set up until we reached there. Food-wise: Not hot/warm enough. Overall, the team is quite inexperienced.

Nice ambience and quiet on a Sunday night. Gtilled Pork belly, pork collar and squid go well with Japanese sake. $15 voucher for $50 spend comes in handy.

The ambiance was nice and the food was tasty. The staff was polite and friendly. The only downside was that there was a dish not served and I did not check the receipt carefully when I made the payment so I overpaid a little for what I ate.
