Outstanding dinner at Ivin's last nifght. Every dish we ordered had a unique taste and was superb. Fortunately, spiced at just the right level and not excessively (which made it easy for me to taste everything). The beef rendang and the mixed veg dish were standouts. I tried chengdol for the first time and loved it too. Service was quick. One of the servers noticed that I was rubbing my arms due to the cold air from the ac vent and quietly came and turned off the vent and served me a mug of hot water to drink without my asking for either. I call that true service! Thank you.

The food came out in a very timely manner and tasted as good as before the reno. But the dishes felt a bit too salty/too much MSG, good on the first few bites but after a while we felt that we couldn't eat too much as it was too salty. Afterwards we felt the need to drink a lot of water. The her peow soup especially was quite salty and the nasi kuning could afford to be less salty too to balance out all the lovely dishes. Please put less salt so we can enjoy it more and feel good afterwards!

5th visit since 2025. First 4 visits were all dinner. Today is the first time we try out the set lunch since there are only 2 of us and many eateries or food stalls are still closed for the CNY. The variety of set menu selection is good to mix and match. I think up to 3 persons can still order different set menu if ala-carte is a bit too much

Service was very good. Staff very courteous and helpful. Fast service. Good that there was an allergen list for the food, though not completely accurate. For example they thought tapioca floor had gluten - 100 pints for effort, but need more education. One feedback - they food was a tad sweet - still good but sweet.

Love the tangy appetising pineapple prawn. The lemak sweet potato leaves is a classic dish that Ivins excels at. Ayam bua kelak is all time favourite. Satisfying meal indeed. Staff were also very attentive.

Food was good, as usual. Servings are larger after their price increase following renovation of the restaurant. It is now half the size it used to occupy. Some favourite dishes are also noticeably “missing in action”. Attentive service from their regular staff. Only negative was the extremely noisy ambience from some loud customers which were possibly exacerbated by the finishing/furnishing within the restauramt .

Ivins at Binjai Park never fail to delight us with very tasty food at reasonable prices. Inspite of the small amount of food we ordered, the very friendly staff made us feel like VIPs as they always do. The restaurant has a very cosy welcoming ambience.

Tried out some new dishes. The honey pork was very good, better than those served in Dynasty. The Udang assam gravvy with pineapple was also excellent with sweet, sour & spiciness blended into one. However, the Fuyong egg is mediocre. The other usual dish of lady finger, gorhiang & ayam buah keluah was fine except the buah keluah is a bit bitter this time round

My family and I have been loyal patrons of Ivins for over 15 years, but sadly, the food hasn't quite lived up to our nostalgic expectations. The dishes that once felt like home, particularly the honey pork that I used to love, don't taste the same. The chap chye didn't quite hit the mark either. However, the beef rendang, sambal petai, and hee pow soup were standout dishes. On the plus side, the bustling evening atmosphere was lively, and we didn't feel rushed. A sweet touch was when a friendly staff member offered us desserts available at the counter during our meal. Although we knew they were chargeable, it would have been appreciated if she had mentioned the price and that they were extra. Nonetheless, we miss the old Ivins.

My Hong kong fiend specially enjoyed the food esp the Beef Rendang. The Chicken Rendang meat was not as good, guess its frozen fr old chicken. We prefer the older menu which was better from Msia chicken.
