Ichikokudo Hokkaido Ramen - Suntec City

I had beef ramen in tomato broth, which is unusually delicious :) Too bad they don't serve pork here, which really limits the choice compared to other ramen shops!

Surprisingly tender smoked duck which accompanied thick ramen noodles in a slightly spicy broth. Portions are just about right, but slightly pricey as with most Jap noodle eateries around. Will be back to sample their classic no frills version :)

Delicious food, value for money. Friends said it tasted comparable to the good non-halal ones! Restaurant seemed rather understaffed with only 2 servers on the floor, but they were very helpful and tried their best to assist us in every way possible. Almost felt like they were in a game of diner dash. Didnt catch their names but the servers were a petite chinese lady and a big tall malay guy - the latter even helped us adjust the spotlight that was shining uncomfortably to our faces at our corner table. Both excellent staff!

My 3rd visit here for dinner with friends. The food and staff there were amazing. The ramen taste great. Love the extra rich ramen. Good food, good service. Love the recent upgrade on ordering it on a tablet. So convenient , and fast.

Perhaps service staff can check whether the clients needs help cos I am a first timer there and do not know what to order. Took me a while to decide and nobody bother to check with me whether I need help for first timer in term of recommendation of food. If that was offered, it will be nice.

I really like the ramen light broth. The bamboo shoot in the ramen is surprisedly good without any “pungent” taste that I often get from other ramen.
