The black pepper crab is very good and different from elsewhere. Nice surroundings, can take a walk near the beach after you feast on crabs and seafood feast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Service is good, all the food is nice. Only downside is when you sit outdoor, the houseflies keep attacking. The food is worth the money.
The food is very nice and the waiting time is very reasonable, considering that the restaurant was almost fully booked on that day. The only thing I want to highlight is that the tables are too closely packed . There is hardly any space to walk.
Food was fine. Cleanliness and ambient was a bad experience. House flies and fruit flies roaming around aircon indoor! New cutlery and eating utensils are not properly washed with food staines. However, waitress were friendly.
There were no host to ask for your preference of ala carte or dimsum buffet. We had to serve ourselves. Food portion was limited and had to refill countless of times. Went on a weekday and therefore had fewer people eating.
food is Ok but a bit pricey, portion not very big.
Nice environment. Crab is nice but expensive 1kg $65.. other side dish is expensive too.. will only recommend if you have luxury budget.. spend $308 on 2 crab and other M size dishes..
The actual start time is 11.30am instead of the 11am. The restaurant seem to be understaffed.
Had total 10kg of Excellent crabs. Friendly and energetic service staff. Had fun singing karaoke while having crabs. We would definitely return soon for more!
The Black Pepper crab is very flavourful and taste great. Other dishes are good as well. Will definitely visit again to try the chilli crab.
A great place for seafood lovers with affordable pricing. Outdoor seating is available where you can relax and have your dinner while enjoy the great view of the seaside.
Price is on the high side, food is pretty good. good sea side dining location. 10 pax on average cost around 600-800 depending on no. of crabs.
The food and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing and suitable for our family birthday celebration. Overall, good dinner that we had. Really enjoyed
crowded but good food. crab was done well. will go again..
Seafood tower experience was pleasant. So much food that it's difficult to choose what to eat! Must make sure you have enough people to share the feast. One thing though is some items are a little overcooked since everything is steamed at the same time.
I would recommend either the butter crab or butter prawns. The claypot crab vermicelli is nice too. Pork ribs is quite nice too. Service is ok.
This is not my 1st time there, the waiter n waitress r v warm n friendly. We had seafood there most of the time, so this time we tried the steam tower something v different. Overall it tastes v sweet n healthy , v natural.
Service wasn't bad but we were seated in a corner and were kind of neglected and ignored most of the time. Service was slower than what we used to get when we came at busier times. Food is good as always but the bummer was they do not accept Amex credit cards.
Decent food with quick and courteous service. The whole place is packed with tables though, making it very cramped, hard for bigger people to move about.
Nice ambience and staff service is good, probably is due to weekday. Big Sri Lanka crab, but the meat we ordered is a bit tough.
The crab is not as good as before. The standard of food has dropped as compared to last time. For the price that they are charging, not very worth it.
Food was nice but service was so-so only... the chilli crab and black pepper crab is awesome... one of the crabs was not very fresh though... overall still ok
Good food, prompt service, but too pricey though. It'd have been helpful if staff may portion we order is too little / too much based on number of pax, adults, kids etc. We did over order, my own fault but thought it's a good initiative if the staff does so. Business turnover is more important I guess
The quality of the crab was a great disappointment. The flesh was hard and there was no natural sweetness of crab. The black pepper sauce was too sweet and sticky. The stuffed you tiao has a strong floury smell and stuffing is not tasty. The dipping sauce does nothing to the taste.
The portion is a little small but the food quality is really pretty decent & not bad. Love the cereal prawn, fried kway teow with cai po, the gravy for the chilli crab is not bad too with a spicy punch. Will definitely be back at the punggol branch.
Yesterday was Mother's Day. Dining experience wasn't too pleasant. Service was lacking. Staff just too busy. Ordered a SET B Meal for 6 pax. Food came staggering late. Fried rice portion seemed too little for 6 pax. Tea not replenish. I felt I chosen the wrong place to dine. Our first time there.. left pretty unimpressed. Only consolation was a $50 voucher and apology from staff during payment for lack of service on a busy Mother's Day night. Will come back one last time on a less busy day to give a fair review the next time
Pleasant meal with family, nice food and good service, will consider to go again if possible as transportion is easier for people who has car.
Way too expensive, family of 4 spent $348 , same dishes compare to Jumbo I only spend $260+ .. too much for a small family
The food are great! Besides chilli crab, we tried the steam crab this time. Best crab ever. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed our meal.
Friendly staff and nice food. I came with my 2 friends and we have order 4dishes(small size) and 2 flavors of crabs, total $200plus. Location is not so convenience and have to take bus from Serangoon MRT Station.
Place is big and spacious. However, there were many flies flying around the place.. probably due to the place being near a park. Food was good though!
The quality of the food is average for the price paid. The prawn is not succulent and the vegetable is ordered is appetizing. The crab is not fresh.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is cosy and clean. Food is delicious. I would come back for the black pepper crabs and seafood tower next time.
They charge for paper napkins. Good pepper crab. The butter crab is in my humble opinion even better than the pepper crab. Get a table outside to take in the view
I believe under staff during the visit, service rendered not as good as expected, ie no server refill of tea, order taker not knowledgeable also.
food is serve fast, good service but the space between tables are too narrow.. very hard to walk through.. will visit again but must sit outdoor.
I asked for Bill And was told that the credit card machine was spoilt. I waited for 30 mins just to see the bill. If spoilt they should tell me and not keeps asking me to wait.
Overall service wa good. Place was crowded hence service was not as good as my last visit in terms of plate changing and service request.
ambience is ok. Service is good. But the food is not as good as we have eaten in Joo Chiat branch. The price is abit at high side too
Black Pepper Crab @ House of Seafood, Punggol Settlement. Last evening, D brought the family for a dinner treat to celebrate his recent promotion. We made table reservations for 6 pax using the #quandoo app and was quite upset that we didn't get the indoor seating as booked. Generally the food was decent, with the highlight going to their Black Pepper Crab (1.2kg for S$ 72). The portioning of the other items so small that its considered pricey. Other items that we ordered: Chilli Crab (1.2kg for S$ 72), Fried Man Tou (12 pieces for S$ 9.60) , Salted Egg French Beans (M size for S$ 16), Honey Pork Ribs (M size for S$ 24), Seafood Casserole (M size for S$ 50) and Sweet Sour Chicken with Quail eggs (M size for S$20). Miscellaneous items paid: Wet tissues (6pieces for S$1.80) , Started crackers (S$ 2), pickles (S$ 2) and Hot Tea (S$5). Total bill inclusive 10% service charge and 7%GST is S$326.50. Verdict: Just stick to the crabs. #burpple #burpplesg #quandooapp
