Ordered the Omakase & wagyu don. Fresh seafood & really good wagyu don! Wish they offered sake by the glass as not many would drink a carafe/ bottle for lunch. Overall is a very good experience.

Chawanmushi was the most amazing dish of my course meal. Splendid tasty dashi broth with uni and truffle. The usage of caviar with a tinge of saltish base blended well with the uni to compensate it for the slight fishy taste. Overall a smart usage of ingredients and nicely fused.

Great ambience and food. Cawanmushi was just amazing. Ordered the set, so much rice and could not really finish all, dessert was matcha ice cream, good taste

Service was great. No doubt food was nice but dinner was very overpriced. Little wonder the restaurant was empty the entire time we were there.

We have the $238 and $188 omakase to share. Loved the crab oden best. Was a nice experience at the restaurant. Chef was friendly and loves to chat.

The service was impeccable, service staff are attentive and serve with a smile. We had omakese. The chef was humorous and explains how each dish should be eaten to achieve a wholesome dinning experience. Just let the chef know your preference and he will gladly modify the menu to suit your platelet. The king crab Oden is juicy and succulent. I will definitely be back!

Chef was very friendly. Food was enjoyable ambiance was nice but service and general presentation can be greatly improved given the price of the menu.

Attentive service that makes customers feel at ease. I like how small and minimalist the space is. I wish I had been able to watch the chefs prepare the food at the bar. Sashimi was very high quality (chef's selection), but the other non-seafood options were sub-bar for the price.

We were warmly greeted at the door and was looked after as we had our lunch. The chef paid attention to us and was attentive to our needs and even modified the omakase meal we had to ensure we had a great time. This is highly recommended and we would go again.

Hidden and relatively unknown, we were treated to excellent service and great food. Attentive staff ensured that my drink was always full. Onden, while not my favourite was still flavoursome and light and the chef readily made changes to the menu due to my food preferences. The sashimi was great - fresh uni ensured that my wife enjoyed her meal and we literally felt like the restaurant was just opened for us! There is a Yakuza inspired Sake bar that I would try next time - tip for those who drive, take a taxi! Definitely worth a try

The sushi set lunch was very good. We had the wagyu beef oden set too but somehow it tasted ordinary, or rather a little bland. We liked the freshness of the fish so much so that we ordered another portion of sashimi despite being very full!!

The Sashimi was amazing especially the kampachi belly and seabream. To add on to the quality of food, Chef Ron Neo who has 18 years under his belt was very entertaining.

Pleasant and delightful experience. Services were warm and attentive, and food was great. Ordered the Kikyou Omakase and the bill totaled up to ~$450 for 2 pax. Although the appetizers were abit difficult to appreciate, salmon head soft bone, we enjoyed the rest of our meal very much. Overall a good place to dine!

For the same price point, I feel that the chirashi don at Aoki may be more worthwhile (my all time favorite). Given the hype over the tomato oden, I may have higher expectation of this dish. It was nice and refreshing but somewhat not a mind blowing dish for me. The dessert was just yuzu ice cream, which is a far cry from Aoki's. Service staff were polite and attentive.

The serving staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was also really good. The food itself was very delicious and fresh. I believe in order to get any fresher, I would have to fly to Japan instead.

The restaurant was not crowded. But the food came so quickly one after another that you would think that they are trying to get you to gobble up your food, pay up and and leave the restaurant quickly. I even had 2 waitresses trying to take away a plate of my unfinished food. Also the waitress does not know her sakes. She was just trying to recommend the more expensive sake. Both my dining partner and I felt the same way. The bill came up to about $400 per pax. Not worth the money at all. Not a pleasant dining experience. Will not be returning again. Places like Keyaki and Kuriya still much much better in terms of value for money, food quality and dining experience.

Truly authentic japanese dining experience. My pregnant wife and have been to japan a few times. And we can never find the same food quality in Australia... the chef tonight was super accomadating for pregnant wife. Made sure she got to some aburi sushi so didnt miss out. And even gave a few complimentary dishes. Saying "its good for the baby" :) stuff like this makes me have to go back!!
