According to an urban legend a sole and proud rooster used to cross the streets in Bo Bo Tan
Gardens in Singapore after he survived not only a bird flu but also the extermination of his sick kind,
undertook by the paranoid authorities. Afterwards he showed his proud by roaming the district and
teasing its former hunters. In honor of the local legend the restaurant Coq & Balls commemorates
the behavior of the proud rooster. Here visitors can show their own balls by trying one of the various
cocktails like the Sudden Death or other special mixtures exclusively served at the Coq & Balls.
If hunger strikes the guests of the Coq & Balls they do not have to leave the bar. A short bite between drinks will be fulfilled by Tortilla Chips, Chicken Wings or Quesadillas with mushrooms. The restaurant in Singapore’s Kai Fook Mansion also serves main dishes for a big hunger. Remember the proud rooster eating Burgers, Fish & Chips or a classic Carbonara.
